„This was one of my best getaways I've ever had. There is plenty of exploring to be done here. Although you don't have to leave to see wildlife. The best part for me was the lack of cell service outside the property. Gave me a great opportunity to disconnect from my every day life“

„Great house! Everything you need. The only critic would be the AC in the detached casita was barely blowing and wasn’t cold. My husband opened it out and it was brown with dirt and lots of dead moths fell out. After he cleaned the filter, it worked perfectly. “

„The house is beautiful and perfectly captures the west Texas feel. It was very convenient for visiting both the state and national parks and terligua, but off the beaten path enough for some solitude. Kitchen had everything we needed and was very clean. No tv, but that was a plus- more time for star gazing. Only critique was shower pressure was very low, but it wasn't a big issue for us as we were out hiking every day. Would definitely recommend! It exceeded our expectations.“

„Went for the chili cook off. Enjoyed BBNP. Cemetery for day of the dead is a must experience. Locution was perfect, close to everything. Unpaved road to the property is rough. Glad we had our Bronco. The property is exactly as described. Quiet and peaceful but close to lots of activities. “

„10 Bits Ranch is beautiful, secluded and has awesome views right on the front porch. It's about 15 minutes from the bars and restaurants. Beautiful views of the night sky and quiet. “

„We have stayed in the other Casita before, and this one is the same. It is as advertised. However, attention needs to be paid to a couple of electrical things that aren't to code. The light switch cover in the bath does not cover the box, and both the bath and the kitchen should be protected with GFCI outlets.“

„We drove to Terlingua from Marfa and decided to take the scenic route through Presidio to enjoy the mountain range. We arrived in Terlingua about 4:30 and following the instructions from our gracious hosts, we went right to our darling house in the mountainside. We arrived on a Tuesday, which is not the best day because most places are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays! But we had planned ahead and brought pork steaks for the outside Weber grill! „Loved this place. It’s incredibly safe and cozy for being off grid. I was a bit nervous being off grid, but this property has other guests that stay in their own buildings… it felt like a little village. The room itself was so comfortable, clean and exactly what we needed. There were TONS of stars at night and stunning sunrises in the morning. Could not recommend more. We will be back. “
