Doggy beach trip
A great location for accessing many dog friendly beaches in the area. The accommodation itself has so much promise, but unfortunately has fallen into quite a bit of disrepair. It’s always going to be hard to maintain things attached onto very thin walls and obviously previous renters have not treated it well sadly.Shower stand was falling off, missing handle to open a window, blind no longer rolling up or down, extremely wet and mouldy garden sofa cushions and one missing, many things loose and coming away from walls, no ability to hoover the carpet of dog hair ourselves, rushed cleaning prior to our arrival, groceries left in cupboards and the fridge, toothpaste in a glass in the bathroom and sticky surfaces, no batteries to use fake candles, no towels or bath mat, (we did bring our own towels though), extra charge for dog stay £20 each, for deep cleaning. With all windows closed there was a very damp odour. It was absolutely adequate for a couple of nights, but I’m not sure if it had been any longer that we would have stayed on.We would suggest the owner pay a visit to appreciate how much needs fixing.
