"I just love this place; the location is great; the peace and quiet is priceless and the fishing was awesome. My wife had a wonderful time reading on the porch while I fished the days away. Our dog had a blast as always walking the long “driveway” and many trips around the ponds trying to find frogs. If you would ask me after each trip if I had any negatives I would only say that the refrigerator was too small. Problem solved; we found a new fridge; a new stove and a new coffee maker this time...

"We loved our brief stay at the property. The house feels warm and cozy. It was perfect to come back to after a busy I have to Alexa to Costco list Costco list day with family. I love the historic community. And we went for a long walk on the local trail. The house was clean. We did not interact with the host as they had everything set up for easy access. Be ready to climb some stairs and the shower is quite quirky. But we’d definitely stay there again."

"We were here for just one night and this place was perfect. Easy access, clean, and very responsive host. My only suggestion is to have more security between the private room and the rest of the house, there was no deadbolt between the door and it would have felt safer as a renter of a private room to have that option. Otherwise great stay."

"I took my 2 dogs over a weekend and even with the rain we couldn't be happier. The covered porch was perfect and it has a nice trail in the property for the dogs to explode. Would definitely come back!"

"Wonderful stay! Seamless check-in and checkout. We booked our stay initially for the Lantern Festival but also visited the Kitchen Kettle Village as suggested by our hosts David and Ester who are both very kind. We were going to visit their farm and buggy ride the following day but we were all tuckered out from exploring and the festival. (It gives us a reason to return!) Instead, we grabbed a bite at the Speckled Hen (which is also kid / family friendly) has cool playground and headed back...

"This is a clean, comfortable and well-appointed rental. The manager was cordial and attentive. The only downside was that there was significant traffic noise that rose well above the ability of the provided white noise generator to cover it. If you are accustomed to urban traffic noise it should not be a problem. The sheets were strongly scented from washing which might be an issue for some."

"If possible i would give this cottage a 10 rating. It was not only charming, but beautiful, inside and out. The area is very picturesque and peaceful. The owners Mina, Chad and Zoey, are wonderful hosts. We didnt miss the tv at all. Highly recommend this property. 10 out of 10 in our opinion."

"So much to do in Brandywine Valley and this home was a perfect home base. The location was close to everything - historic sites, antique shops, wineries, great restaurants and Longwood Gardens. It’s advertised as “cozy” and we found it charming and comfortable. Loved the excellent communication, ease of entry and departure, and warm welcome from our hostess. It was a perfect weekend getaway."

"This home is in the heart of Amish country. We enjoyed seeing the horse and buggies pass by. We enjoyed the outside fire pit for a camping feel with all the comforts of a full stocked house. It was very relaxing and our pup enjoyed running in the large back yard. Thank you for sharing your home with us."

"The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star rating is because, they did not have an option for vegetarian breakfast. Although the breakfast was included in the price of the room. Still I would expect some cereals or breads, but the front desk dog the is no vegetarian options. I was little disappointed as it was early in the morning when my child was hungry and the hotels were closed at the time for anything. Rest the stay was good, the hotel is very clean, room was clean, corridors were clean....
