„Sehr schönes Haus, indem es angenehm nach Holz riecht. Zimmer sind in Ordnung und sauber. Frühstück war super mit Müsli und frischem Obst. Die Gastgeberinnen sind sehr nett. Etwas schwer zu finden, denn man muss eine nicht befestigte Auffahrt hochfahren.“

„We chose this place based purely on its location and hoped for the best. It didn’t wow us, but it didn’t disappoint. My biggest issue is that there was no one in the office for check in, our key was in an envelope with our names on it taped to the office door with a page of instructions, and we had to call the number on the instruction sheet to find out about things like the wifi only to be told that it was in “the notebook”. „We loved the view from the porch, the beautiful more old-fashioned rooms, amazing friendly owners and staff and lots of things to see and do in the nearer surrounding! A pool and a lovely grill area make it even more a place to feel good and enjoy. We have not been disturbed by the street at all. The property is quite old and at some points you can see it. But that just makes it even more charming. “

„Nice spot by the creek. The view from the balcony was great and peaceful. The one complaint is the walls are really thin, so you can hear everything. If you have kids, they may have a hard time sleeping at first until the tvs go off. Other than that, really nice stay!“

„Wir suchten nach einer Übernachtung um auf den Chimney Rock zu steigen und dies ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Leider hat die Saison noch nicht begonnen und die Lokale schliessen abends früh. Das uns empfohlene Restaurant (best in Town) hatte leider ausgerechnet an diesem Tag auch zu. Fürs Frühstück werden Kaffeebohnen nach gewünschter Geschmacksrichtung gemahlen und für die Verpflegung steht in der Küche alles bereit was das Herz begehrt. Super ...

„Leider war das Hotel überbucht. Trotz schriftlicher Bestätigung durch den Hotelbesitzer, war unser Zimmer vergeben. Nach langem Hin und Her hat man uns (3 Erwachsene) ein Zimmer mit einem Queenzisebett angeboten: 2 Personen im Bett, eine Person auf Decken auf dem Boden. „The property is so nice. It is dated, but comfortable, clean, and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. They even had a couple of small boxes of laundry detergent which was nice. There is a deck that overlooks the golf course to enjoy over morning coffee. The amenities were lovely - putt-putt golf, swimming, and playgrounds for the kids. We loved it! The entire staff was helpful and friendly.“
