„The host was very warm and welcoming. I felt accommodated and all my questions were answered. The cabin was just right for traveling solo. Was a little put off by the fact of having the fridge and microwave in the bathroom and noticed that the front door didn't seal on one side so the cold air came right through making the room a bit chilly. Over all I did enjoy the stay.“

„Access to the Schroon River was nice to cool off in, but overall the rental was not worth the money we paid. When we first arrived, there was garbage left over from previous guest. There were missing pans, so we had to borrow a pan from the general store. This property listing was very inaccurate. It says there is heat, wi-fi, a dryer, air conditioning, and 2 bathrooms on the property, but in reality they are talking about the public restrooms at the general store 0.4 miles down the road which ...

„Our stay there was very nice. The best part about the entire trip is the river. We had three kids ages 9-12 and all had a great time playing in the river. The grounds were very neat while we were there. We were the only people around. It was so amazing not to have anyone around, the only suggestion is a deep thorough cleaning. very strong smell of mildew in cabin, other than that, it was an amazing time “

„Overall the online listing is a very accurate representation of the property. It has a very rustic cabin feel. The pond that you can visit is wonderful and well staffed and taken care of. My only complaint is there was no air conditioning in the apartment and it got very hot.“

„We are long-time summer residents who needed alternative housing. We are so glad that we were able to rent this home. You walk in the door, and just wow. The view is 180 degrees of mountains, lake, and clouds. You can just enjoy the view all day. Everything was well stocked and comfortable. Beds were great. „We had a fantastic stay at Bolton Abode! Incredibly comfortable accommodations which was our home base for a wedding at the Sagamore. The beds were more comfortable than any hotel bed, the appliances were top notch, and the location was right in the center of town. We really enjoyed our stay will be back next time we are in Lake George!“
