Ok for a quick trip.
The cottage is dated. Furnishings flimsy and space is ok for no more than 2-3 people, we were 6 (2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 kids). We noticed some insects that needed extermination and reported it to the property manager. There is also no washer or dryer in the house so no fresh towels if you need them especially after finding insects in them. Traveling with children can make this a big inconvenience as it was for us us. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the property in its current state and will not consider it for another stay in the community.

Great experience!
This is the second time we’ve stayed, both times for the holidays. We could comfortably accommodate the 4 adults/teens in the two bedrooms. The already plowed/shoveled driveway and salted steps/ porch was so greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay again!!

Nice quiet place
The house is small but it’s quaint and clean. There’s a nice area behind the house to walk around in a little wooded area for your dogs; however if you’re looking for endless-like space, there are houses close by. It was very peaceful and Lake Harmony is only a ten minute drive. That’s where some restaurants are located. Overall it was a great place to getaway. I’d go there again

The property was exactly as described, including a beautifully remodeled bathroom. The driveway was plowed upon our arrival as well as having a shovel and pet friendly ice melt right near the door. We could not have asked for a better experience!

A great convenient getaway!
We came to the Poconos for a few days and really enjoyed our stay. We have four children ages 10, 8, 4 and 2. Three children stayed in one room and my husband and I shared the other room with the baby. The children appreciated board games that the cottage had. The deck was great for sitting outside and just taking in the fresh air. We took some walks around the area. Everyone around us was so nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend as an option for a few night getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning. I really loved that I could bring my dog, he's a giant beast :) and it's not easy to find places he's welcome. We loved the kitchen setup and all of the items provided really made us comfortable.

Not what I expected
Mixed experience. The cottage is cute and overall well maintained. Some recent remodeling. Good communication from the owner and property manager. Second day of our stay the temperature was to be 90 degrees. Where is the air conditioner? Oh here they are laying on the floor in the closet. These are window mount air conditioners. Left phone message and email for the owner and property manager. No response a couple hours later so called Hotels.com. Thats where the nightmare starts. This property is through VRBO not Hotels.com. They wanted me to call VRBO but their automated system hangs up after 2 minutes. Ended up with a two HOUR chat conversation through hotels.com and VRBO. They would not do anything without the property owner and that person could not be found at the time. Late night finally heard from the owner who suggested I install the a/c units myself?? I understand the a/c was removed for the winter but the owner should have reinstalled it before my arrival. Ultimately we lost an entire evening fighting with hotels.com and vrbo instead of being on our vacation. We left the property early then had to fight through four additional phone calls with VRBO to get a refund for the unused night. This is not a bad place and the owner is not a bad person but if you are looking for a hotel level of service these hotels.com to vrbo bookings are not the place. Lost an entire day of my vacation battling with agents in India.

Wonderful weekend away
We had a wonderful weekend here! The home was very clean and inviting. The outside fire pit was a huge draw for our kids to roast s'mores (even when it was snowing)! We had to contact the property manager once during our stay and they were very quick to respond. The neighborhood is cute - good roads for exploring and lots of options for a summer getaway as well!

small but cozy
A nice smallish well-furnished cabin. The location is good but not great (not wild enough for me). The kitchen was small but had a lot of stuff (but no dishwasher). The bedrooms are small. The bathroom is small. The wifi was good. The fireplace is good. The TV gets roku, hulu, and a couple others. I can't imagine more than four people staying here.
