It's hard to get any closer to the river without getting wet!
This beauty has a huge covered porch that sits right on the river's edge and a dining nook with that same perspective. In fact, you still feel that close to the river in the large living room as you're enjoying a cozy fire in a real fireplace. There's also a large screen TV with satellite service.
There's a nicely equipped kitchen with full size appliances and a laundry room too.
The master bedroom is downstairs and it offers a king size bed.
The full bath downstairs offers a full size tub/shower.
Upstairs, there is another half bath and another bedroom with two twin size beds.
The couch in the living room is a sleeper sofa, so this house can take as many as 6 guests.
This home is so cozy and private that you might not want to leave, but we are surrounded by the bountiful Willamette National Forest. In fact, the world famous "Three Sisters Wilderness" area is just 15 minutes close and the Pacific Crest Trail is only 40 minutes east.
Make sure you hike the Mckenzie River Trail. It is 26 miles of wonder and beauty stretched along the Mckenzie Hwy 126 all the way to Fish Lake, but you can easily take it in series of shorter hikes. Try the section between Sahalie Falls and Carmen Reservoir for something spectacular if you only want a small hike. The jaunt to the Blue Pool is also fairly easy, but watch your step as you progress through an ancient lava flow along the way.
The fishing is out of this world and you can definitely fish all day right from our shore, but there are many qualified and pleasant guides available for your maximum fishing experience.
