Grovewood Cottage is surrounded by peaceful farmland in the lush Manning Valley, Barrington Coast. We are 5 minutes from Old Bar Beach, the Manning River and beautiful Saltwater National Park.

Only 3.5 hrs north of Sydney, located on quiet manicured acreage; yet close to pristine beaches, picturesque walks, crystal clear rivers, shallow estuaries, shops, restaurants & pubs.

The space
You will love the tranquil, private location; yet you are only 5 minutes from 2 beaches, a lagoon, the national park, village shops, cafes & Flow Bar. We are also just a 400m stroll from the public jetty / boat ramp on the ‘double delta’ Manning River.

Enjoy complimentary breakfast provisions on the first morning of your stay including free range eggs from our happy chooks (seasonal), cereals, toast, local honey, and fresh coffee on the sunny verandah.

In the evening - a BBQ & drinks watching the sun set on the spacious deck, overlooking your private veggie garden & listening to the beautiful native birds.

‘Grovewood Cottage’ has free NBN Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen with premium appliances, dishwasher, huge fridge, 900mm induction cooktop, electric oven & adjoining dining with French doors opening to the large L-shaped deck with gas BBQ & outdoor dining.

The open plan living room has a large TV, DVD, books, games, and reverse cycle A/C.

The Master Bedroom has French doors opening to the verandah & views, a full ensuite with walk in shower and walk through robe. The main Bathroom has a spacious shower and a separate low walled full-sized bath for the kids or candle lit bubble bath.

The cottage is beautifully furnished and homely, with comfy beds, pantry basics, quality linen & bathroom products.

Master: 1 queen bed, walk through robe and private en-suite
Bed 2: 1 Queen bed & 1 single bed
Bed 3: 1 King Single & 1 Single Trundle bed on request
All bedrooms have ceiling fans.

Please note that this is a totally non-smoking property both inside and out, grounds included.

Guest access
Guests have full private access and your own key to the cottage and fully fenced rear garden.

The cottage is 75m or so away from our main residence, but completely separate.

You are welcome to pick the organic herbs and veggies in the cottage garden & feed our free range chickens (located in our adjoining garden).
Other things to note
*Please specify the exact amount of guests; as rooms, bedding and towels are only allocated according to your paid booking.

*For groups of 6 people or more there is a 2 night minimum stay.

During peak season, and as large quality properties are scarce, we aim to offer the cottage to groups of 5-6 or more.

Please note we have a no pet policy.

We provide all linen, towels, shampoo, soaps, breakfast provisions for at least one morning, tea and coffee.
