I reserved via 2nd party website & requested early check-in. Arrived a few hours prior to regular check-in and was told I couldn't check-in early regardless of my Hilton Rewards status. Then advised of rooms still not cleaned due to shortage of staff. I understand the manning issue but not the check-in early option - maybe that's an issue between hotel and website. The staff on that shift were friendly and helpful and did their best getting us a room quickly.
We stayed for about 4 days, on the 2nd day, we returned to our room to find it had not been cleaned. We called the front desk and told they only clean every other day and would be there the next day. They never came and so we figured maybe the they'll show up (uor last full day/night). NOPE. We called again and they couldn't give an answer as to why the room was not cleaned.
The hotel overall was good, at best. It has a nice gym and a variety of options for b-fast. The rest of the staff were friendly when we initiated contact otherwise they'd go about their day. Lots of room for meetings and relaxing while parking was plenty and easy access to local dining and attractions. I recommend this hotel only if you're seeking a place with a quiet location, gym/pool, tasty breakfasts and a business area is needed and you don't mind minimal room service.
