„Die Unterkunft ist geräumig und praktisch und ansprechend ausgestattet. Sie liegt am Rande der Stadt Picton und hat daher keinen Durchgangsverkehr, ist also relativ ruhig gelegen und dennoch nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, so dass man diese auch zu Fuss erreichen kann. Das Einchecken funktioniert über einen Zugangscode an der Eingangstür der Unterkunft, den man per E-Mail am Tag der Anreise erhält und der ab 15 Uhr gilt.Dies hat gut geklappt.“

„For the journey with my family (3 teenagers) from Montreal to Toronto, I was looking for a rural, intermediate Stop and was more than lucky to come across this little house. „Wonderful location for a cottage with perfect access to the outdoors. Great that kayaks were available from the rental business. Rustic building, no door on the freezer, but once we knew what was what, which was unfortunately on the second day of our stay, it was perfect. Unfortunately I didn't get a response about the Sandbanks pass number when I requested it a week before our stay so there were no reservations available at Outlet Beach.“

„Our family greatly enjoyed our week staying in Watercombe. The waterfront is stunning and we frequently took out the kayaks to explore the bay. All amenities worked very well for us. One note for anyone staying longer (we stayed for a full week) would be that trash and recycling have to be driven out to the main road on collection day and there is not an outdoor bin to store a trash should you generate more than one bag.“

„Good size for a large family (we had 11 adults) but definitely needs a lot of TLC. The exterior of the building needed a good cleanup. The back deck needed total replacement as numerous boards were rotten and the handrail was rotten in many spots. I’d classify it as a safety hazard. Some of the chairs on the deck had no chair pads making them uncomfortable to sit on. There were numerous bugs in the house, lots of spiders, a huge centipede, and numerous ants. „We are 4 adults who had an excellent stay in this spacious home. The common areas are large, and the kitchen is well equipped. There are enough towels, paper towels, dishwasher pods and toilet paper provided for the duration of the stay, which is much appreciated.
