It's so well appointed with contemporary updates you feel like a guest in someone's home. „This cabin was very clean and beautiful. It has a rustic feel and design with all the amenities of a modern cabin. Tammy, the hostess with the mostess, answered all of my annoying questions very quickly and was most helpful. The only thing that I can say that was just a little less than perfect was the frontage road across the creek that had a lot of traffic and was a little loud if you were out front. Inside, we couldn’t hear anything. Beautiful cabin, you won’t be disappointed!!!!“

„I will start with what was great about the cabin. The location is close to downtown, the hot tub is great, the master bed is so comfortable and the host is wonderful. There are some things that could use an upgrade such as the BBQ really should be gas. „Thomas Chapel was easy to find, and a quick drive from Downtown Boone. Set back from the road far enough that it was actually pretty quiet. I definitely rang the church bell every time we came through the door. Incredible craftsmanship, such a calming atmosphere. We were actually able to rest. We loved the decor and the small creek running beside the Chapel. All in all, a fantastic stay!“

I had higher expectations...

"I had slightly higher expectations before arriving at the hotel. The check-in staff were fine, but I was hoping for a bit more of that Southern hospitality. When we got to our room, we noticed a lot of noise from the road, so we went back down to request a room change, which they handled without any issues—this was fantastic. The room itself was quite nice, with a very comfortable bed, though the bathroom was a bit small but functional. I also want to highlight the number and quality of the towels, which were excellent. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the breakfast much. It was impossible to avoid single-use plastic, which, as Europeans, we find difficult due to the amount of waste it generates. The dining area also felt a bit drab and uninviting. Another downside was the housekeeping. Despite requesting, confirming, and leaving the sign on the door for daily cleaning, we returned one evening to find that no one had come to clean the room, which was disappointing."
