Charming Stream Side Cottage, Boscastle

Frogapits ist ein traditionelles kornisches Steinhaus mit ganz eigenem Charme. Es liegt in einem wunderschönen Garten, durch den ein Bach fließt, und ist ein wunderbarer Ort, um sich zu entspannen und den perfekten Urlaub in Cornwall zu genießen. Tagsüber sind zahlreiche Aktivitäten möglich - Klippenwanderungen direkt vor der Haustür, Strände und Surfspots sind bequem mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Am Abend können Sie bei einem Grillabend am Bach im Garten entspannen oder einen Spaziergang zu einem der drei charakteristischen Pubs von Boscastle unternehmen (der nächste ist nur 50 Meter entfernt). Im Winter kommt das Cottage mit einem Holzofen im Wohnzimmer und einem rauchfreien Kaminofen in der Küche zur Geltung - beides auf einmal, und es könnte nicht gemütlicher sein. Wir sind der festen Überzeugung, dass es Ihnen schwer fallen wird, ein Haus zu finden, in dem so viel zu finden ist. Als Familie sind wir schon seit Jahrzehnten hier und hoffen, dass wir es noch viel mehr tun können.

Frogapits Easter get away
We spent a lovely week in Frogapits, despite it raining every day! The cottage is fantastic, centrally located to local pubs and restaurants, and within easy travel to many local attractions. Beautiful garden and really enjoyed the wood log burner for cozy evenings in.

Another fantastic stay

We had a fantastic stay on this lovely cottage. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed sunny evenings and bbqs. We managed to park two cars on the road next to the cottage all week. Enjoyed local beaches and we used the bus to Tintagel one day and walked the coastal path back, unfortunately we missed the dolphins that had made an appearance earlier in the day !

Amazing cottage!

Toaster wasn’t working, of which we reported at the beginning of the holiday but was never replaced and the cooker had signs of rust spots on the front control panel. Apart from that it was a very well equipped cottage.

Fantastic cottage in a great location perfect for exploring North Cornwall
We saw this property last year on our walks down to Boscastle, we were so happy that we managed to book it this year. The cottage is in a perfect location 2 mins from the sea and oocam shops. It is a well equipped and cosy cottage with a large garden, with stream, to enjoy. I would wholeheartedly recommend this cottage. 10/10

A special place
We have stayed many times at Frogapitts and it is a very special place to stay. It is pretty hard to beat in Boscastle for location, and the gardens are just beautiful with even a stream! The cottage is warm and cosy, with the most comfortable bed! This has been our favourite holiday cottage for a number of years and have had many happy holidays here. Stay at Frogapits
Lovely characterful house. Beautiful garden with stream. Great for dogs as all secure. (Provided you can avoid the stream!) only problem was parking. Just so busy. We didn’t move the car all week as we managed to get a space outside to unload. Very stressful when we arrived on Friday at lunchtime. Nowhere to park anywhere in village. So went to Crackington Haven for the afternoon and managed to park at 5.00 pm. Walking was fantastic with dogs straight from door. Brilliant One criticism it would be nice to have a bigger tv please. Overall we had a lovely week

Our stay at Frogapits
The property is a characterful, quaint and magical getaway in Boscastle. The location is just superb, just moments from the sea, pubs and shops. The cottage is very comfortable, well equipped for self-catering, and has a beautiful garden with a stream passing through. We enjoyed the big open fire in the lounge, and managed to cook some impressive meals for up to 10 people! The owners were very responsive to our questions, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Frogapits.

Return to Frogapits
Just completed another stay at this wonderful cottage Equipped with every thing you need, comfortable and relaxing. Some people might be concerned about the lack of allocated parking spaces however yet again we found this not to be an issue parting on the road outside the property (there is also a large car park in the town). This accommodation offers you everything you need for a quiet week away whilst being able to enjoy the tourist spots at your own choice. Boscastle village gives you a good choice of places to eat and drink all very reasonably priced whilst offering amazing coastal walks and scenery that you come to expect from this part of the country. Thanks to Rob and Duncan for providing the opportunity to enjoy this at a reasonably priced accommodation.

Tucked away but within easy reach of everything
A very nice cottage, well thought out and everything in the house works (eg the tin opener actually opens tins easily!) - it felt more like staying in someones house than a rental property - the garden is great and secluded plus the location is so close to town its easy to walk in to go to the pub, pick up fish and chips etc . The things to watch out for is banging your head in any of the low door ways or coming down the stairs and parking is a slight gamble as its in the street but we had good luck and were almost next to the gate so it was easy
