Decent Apartment on 6th floor, but effectively 2nd floor overlooking square (due to the building design), great view from lounge/balcony of the TransArc gondola (which is less than 100m walk) , 20m to Intersport for rentals, 20m to supermarket and less than 50m to several restaurants. "Quality Pizza" on the corner was great. Also its less than 100m to free shuttle bus teminal that takes you to/from Arc 1600 and Funicular. Inside, the apartment is typical high turnover ski accomodation which sleeps 4 adults OK, but would be a squash with 5 or 6 adults. Bath and shower were ideal for aching muscles, plenty of hot water (although suggest that bath overflow/plug needs a bit of maintenance) kitchen was adequate for our needs with decent fridge, dishwasher, hob, small oven/grill, microwave, kettle. Crockery/mugs /glasses/plates, enough of everything (bread knife is blunt, and suggest needs replacing). Suggest that kitchen sink needs a new plug. Bunk beds mattresses were not that comfortable for my 18 year old boys (who can normally sleep on anything) , but double bed mattress was pretty good, and sofa was decent to sleep on. A few more instructions around the place would help, especially if they are in English, for example for the heater, what to do for recycling, what to do on departure day. Heater was good, once we understood the controls, and we were able to dry most of our wet ski stuff overnight. Just about enough pegs/hooks near front door for ski jackets, etc, a few more hooks for towels would be useful, but we managed. Abritel site says Arrival Time from 2pm, but concierge not able to release the keys until 4pm due to the number of apartments that they have to clean on changeover day. All suggestions above are not criticism, they are to help the Property Owner, (we totally understand that it's not been easy to do updates or maintenance during Covid restrictions, but now is the time to address the small suggestions) It didn't affect our enjoyment, and we would stay there again.
