„We made an impromptu decision to stay here to break up our 16 hour drive home from vacation and it turned out to be exactly the right spot to wind down from vacation before returning home. A little secluded but we picked up all of the groceries and wine needed so we didn’t have to venture out much! It was also suitable for working a couple of days with good internet connection! The views and space were great! “

„This is a beautiful property with amazing views and privacy. The house is very well equipped and the host is very responsive. We saw lots of deer, turkey, grouse, and lots of other birds. „The wooded cliffside location overlooking the Shenandoah River was peaceful. The log cabin had a new bedroom/bath addition, wrap around decking and wood and gas fireplaces. The kitchen had all the required utensils. There were a lot of rules and instructions that could be considered helpful. If you're checking in late, bring coffee if you want it in the morning and be prepared to make the bed with the linens provided. A great place for a relaxing weekend or longer stay. “

„I rented this cabin to have family time while celebrating our grandson’s 4th birthday. This place was exactly as described. Very clean, beds were very comfortable. All included amenities were more than enough. We enjoyed grilling, fishing, paddle boarding, the hot tub and family time. The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors were friendly. We loved the windows and views. The overall experience was amazing. We will definitely rent it out next year. It is truly a cozy cabin.“

„My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! We rented a jeep 4x4 truck for the driveway which came in handy! We loved this place especially the screened porch and the little light fixtures on the ceiling fans too cute. Trying to figure out how to turn on and Duhh the fixtures tell you. Loved that! Also, while laying in bed closer to the door, if you lay in the middle and look up there’s a heart shaped Branch in the top of the trees which was definitely a treat to see!! „Enjoyed our stay, hosts very easy to deal with. The house was comfortable and we enjoyed the view and the outside spaces and kayaks were a big hit with the fishermen, however access to the river was not ideal for our family of mixed ages requiring a drive to access the water.“

„This mountain house is absolute beauty! It is beyond gorgeous. The view is spectacular, the sunset is breathtaking. You have a 180 degrees view of West VA. The house itself is stunning, plenty of rooms to move around with our group of 15. We enjoyed the jacuzzi while admiring the beautiful sunset. „The farmhouse was charming. The host has done a great job of updating the rooms and bathrooms while still keeping the charm of an 1800s farm house. The location was perfect for visiting wineries, orchards and upscale restaurants in nearby Marshall. There were 6 of us and it never felt crowded. “
