Earth Dwelling ist eine wunderschöne Konstruktion mit einem Grasdach. Es ist ein Gewebe aus weiß getünchten Stämmen und Brückendielen. Beautiful Property
Susan's retreat was a wonderful surprise for us. 5-10 minutes to downtown bozeman, but really up on a mountain with all the peace and quite included. I was surprised by the overall size of the cabin and all that it offered. My wife asked to extend our stay to have more time with Alta, Susan's super playful doggo. Susan was a great host, and we look forward to returning to enjoy the cabin.

Beautiful setting
This cozy one bedroom home sits high above the bustle amidst a beautiful, tranquil setting. The views and the sunsets are spectacular. Susan, the hostess, is warm and friendly. I recommend the experience of this lovely getaway. One word of caution, however: with heavy rain, the winding dirt road up to the property becomes muddy and one area gets standing water. We were able to navigate it even without 4wd, but I think a small car might have problems (and more so in winter snow).

A great place to slow down
We had a lovely time visiting Susan’s property. Gorgeous views, relaxing atmosphere & overall a great place! We were able to spot a bear and her cubs and countless deer and enjoyed the company of the dog. We look forward to visiting again.

Unique Mountain Sanctuary
A one of a kind property with that allows for a total disconnect from the day to day routine of our business lives. Perfectly situated just outside Bozeman it offers convenience to shopping, restaurants, and access to the interstate for day trips, while also providing privacy and quiet in a truly original mountain home experience. The property has all you need should you wish to stay in and relax or you can walk down to the stocked trout pond and wet a line, sometimes accompanied by Susan's friendly cat and dog. It was truly the perfect getaway for me and I know I will be back again soon.

Perfect for our needs!
10 minutes from downtown Bozeman---incredibly beautiful piece of property! We settled in immediately, went for a walk, spent time by the pond, soaked up the nature that was all around us. Our second night we had dinner downtown. Upon returning and driving up the driveway we spotted a moose--a great moment for us and especially so for our 8 yr old daughter. Amazing when you consider that we were just 10 minutes from downtown Bozeman. Our host Susan was very pleasant and welcoming. She just seems like a very happy person so willing and happy to share her property with you. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Bozeman. Thank you Susan!

Peaceful Retreat

This place is wonderful! It's just outside Bozeman but you feel like you're much further away from the noise and traffic. The property is very charming and the home was clean and well maintained. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy the Montana countryside.

Pure magic and charm!
A week later and we are still talking about this wonderful place as being the highlight of our trip. The warmth, the charm, the amazing collection of eclectic art. Calm respite
If you need a good relaxing vibe, this is it. Susan is lovely & the property matches her gentle soul. We did not want to leave! Cabin is charming, crickets lull you to sleep and the birds greet you each morning. Bozeman has gotten very big and very busy. This is a calm oasis.

Loved this peaceful space for my writing retreat!
This lovely earthen dwelling was adorable, very comfortable, had everything I needed, was quiet, tucked into the natural environment of the Bozeman hills (literally), and near enough to town to enjoy all that Bozeman has to offer! I was able to "get away from it all" over the election week, and make some major progress in the writing of my book! I will be back for sure! Best little secret in Bozman!!
This is our second stay...we loved it so much...we came back!! Love the property, the little added touches to make you feel like you are home away from home. We always feel like we are in our own little log cabin when we visit. We came for parents weekend for MSU in October and the weather was awesome!! The cabin is appointed with little personal touches everywhere. There is coffee to get you started with a grinder, a coffee press or pot. Pots and pans if you want to cook, a hair dryer which I used and lovely personal affects that decorate the place all around. I love the coziness and intimateness of the place. And don't forget....you get your very own "vacation pets" to play with!! Every morning I would get my coffee and go out in my pj's to play with the cat and dog. We also spotted a baby bear and momma bear on our first day driving out the little road!! Coolest sighting ever!! Thank you Susan for another awesome stay!! Sherry

Unique property with all the right touches!!
If you like rustic and quite and vacation animals to play with...this is the place!! My husband and I drove to Montana to drop off our son to college at MSU and we booked the Earthen Home with Susan. It was just outside Bozeman and perfect in terms of getting back and forth to town. The house is ADORABLE!! It is dug into a small hill with the front open with windows for plenty of light. All the necessities you need to stay and more! All the little personal touches make it extra special. Every morning we made coffee, sat outside on our private patio, enjoyed the sunshine and played with the cat and dog...my favorite part:) We also spent plenty of time down by the private lake and played a game of horseshoes, played with the dog and my husband threw a line in! We brought a few beers and made a whole evening of it. You can't go wrong here...we will be back!

Wonderful experience. My daughter and I had a magical time. The owner was a very memorable kind fun lady. My doughter was quite intrigued by her. The property was beautiful, well taken care of rustic and whimsical. The dwelling was clean and nicely decorated. Had all two people would need for a stay. I wish we could have stayed longer. The pond was great on a hot summer day.
