Cannery South - Sunny Two Bedroom Condo in Cannery District!

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Cannery South is a condo on Bozeman's northeast side, right in the midst of excellent bars/restaurants and within miles of downtown. This unit has the best location in the building, facing south on the fourth floor, with incredible mountain views and lots of sunshine. Floor-to-ceiling windows connect you with the views and on top of that, you have a private balcony. Enjoy modern finishes with access to building amenities like the rooftop!

GENERAL LOCATION AND SETTING: This unit is in Cannery Flats, a brand new build in Bozeman's up-and-coming Cannery District. Pizza, sushi, coffee, and more are right next door, along with a gym and barber shop. Downtown is just minutes away to the south and MAP Brewing is minutes away to the north. (Please note that the train does go through this part of town.)

BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: This is a two bed/two bath unit. The bedroom off of the living room is a master with a queen bed, an ensuite full bath and walk-in closet. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and walk-in closet. The second bathroom can be accessed from the hallway or from the second bedroom.

KITCHEN: When you don’t feel like heading next door for a meal out, take advantage of the full kitchen with full-size fridge, range, microwave, and dishwasher. Belying its size, there is tons of cabinet space above and below so you can be fully stocked for your stay. All the utensils, serving ware, and kitchen accessories you need are provided.

LIVING ROOM: Living, kitchen, and dining all blend into one in this cozy space and the floor-to-ceiling windows let you take in Bozeman's beautiful setting while enjoying a meal or a night in.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Take advantage of your access to the building's rooftop deck, complete with propane fire pits and two gas grills for a meal under the Big Sky. There is a private balcony to enjoy the views and cool summer nights.

COMMON AREAS: Cannery Flats has a few common areas to take advantage of during your stay. We already mentioned the rooftop, but there is also a large lounge area looking out on the roof and views with a huge flat-screen TV and tables/chairs for work or meals.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY: All of downtown Bozeman and its amenities are at your fingertips while you stay at Cannery South. When you’d like to connect to Montana’s natural beauty a bit more, excellent running trails are nearby and you're right on the way to Bridger Bowl for skiing and Bridger Canyon for xc skiing or hiking. The North Entrance to Yellowstone is 70 miles away.

Excellent Location
Great part of town with easy access to downtown and I-90. The Cannery area has shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance of the condo. Grocery stores are a short drive. There were a couple of hiccups when we checked in. One of the beds was broken. I was unable to reach the property managers during business hours, so I had to use the emergency number. The maintenance team was responsive and had a new bed purchased and assembled within a couple of hours. There were a few other broken items in the condo, but they did not impact our stay. We enjoyed using the club/lounge and rooftop deck. With the exception of the train, it’s a quiet building. A nice place for my family of four. We would stay here again.

Stay was great as well as the location. The check in process was unclear and overly complex. I realize there are limitations to building access, but this was frustrating from the start First of all.. 5:00 check in is ridiculous...lockboxes, access codes, keyfobs and parking passes made for a tiring string of misunderstandings. Waivers for damage and added expense on top of other fees would make me reconsider the location again. The mgmt company was slow to respond and close at the same time as check in...makes it hard to get things answered if you have a problem. Now, that said, the condo was comfortable, had great common area we discovered on our own, and was in a good location for proximity to downtown. Decently stocked, and overall a small but comfortable space for 2 couples.

We enjoyed our stay at your property. Close to restaurants, stores, and downtown. Clean, quiet (except for the occasional train), and affordable. The 4th shower of the morning was not always hot. The blinds to the patio did not raise but you could still access the patio. Otherwise, the pros and perks of this place definitely outweigh your few complaints. Thank you for the enjoyable stay!

The fob collection and accessing the property was a little tricky (trying to find which lockbox out of three numbered boxes was fun 😊) but once we got settled, the property was wonderful. Clean, moderate, and of course great views.

Cannery Holiday Trip 2023
The property was clean, great location (everything felt like 5 minutes away), easy access to head up to Bridger Bowl for skiing. Very close to some really good dining and night life. The Sitka store was a nice surprise as well. We have already started thinking about next years holiday vacation. Need a bit more room for more family members.

Love the location
Great condo just perfect. Great view of mountains. Clean and comfortable. The only negative Is the train that passes through every hour and the train horn goes on 4 or 5 times. During the day not so bad, But once you go to bed this will Be heard. I did read this in a review but had no idea it was this loud or this often. The condo is so close to coffee shop And cute restaurants but in hindsight would Not have booked here due to the train noise.

Perfect location for what we needed, clean, bright and modern. The manager was also kind enough to accommodate an early check in. The only downside was the extremely uncomfortable beds. The living space was small and it was difficult to accommodate 4 adults in one space.

Perfect Stay in Bozeman
We loved our recent stay at the condo at Cannery Flats! It was the perfect place for our needs. We originally planned to stay in Big Sky for the Foo Fighters concert (RIP Taylor) but once that was cancelled, we looked for something in Bozeman instead. Cannery Flats was an excellent location. Easy to access and plenty of space when we needed it. It was close enough for a day trip to Big Sky for some hiking, lunch and shopping, hiking in the national forest, and exploring the Livingston area too. We had planned to visit Yellowstone, but the recent flooding closed the closest entrances and we didn't want to put in the long drives each way. The condo itself was clean and accommodating for our family Two decent sized bedrooms with connected bathrooms were great. The bedrooms were spaced far enough apart that we could wake up at separate times and not disturb one another. Loads of closet space for longer stays, too. There's a great balcony off the main room but we wished there were seating, possibly a small bistro set, for the balcony to enjoy the cooler mornings and evenings. You can walk to several restaurants, shops, and a distillery. You're close enough to everything in Bozeman as well, making it easy to get around town and get anything you might need. Close to MSU and Bridger Bowl as well. When we make our next trip to Bozeman, we'll definitely start by checking availability at the Cannery Flats condo before looking elsewhere.

Bozeman Visit
The condo was very clean and well located to downtown Bozeman and the north side that has many restaurants and shops. It was also comfortable and well equipped. Our party consisted of two couples and we had adequate room and private bedrooms and bathrooms. The key system was a little tricky at first, but once we figured it out we had no problem with it. We had a wonderful visit and look forward to returning someday.

The building appears to be fairly new & trendy but the apartment itself has extremely uncomfortable furniture, especially the beds, and it’s right next to a train track so trains are constantly passing by and blaring their horns, all day AND all night. If you’re a hard sleeper, it shouldn’t be an issue. If not, this probably isn’t the place for you.
