Come create a relaxing, fun-filled vacation in our luxury home! Perfect for large family gatherings, our lake house boasts Main Lake views from the safety of a quiet cove!

Over 6000sf of living space includes a chef kitchen, home theatre, 5 bedrooms + bunkbed area --including 2 Masters, 2 Family Rooms and an oversized Screen Porch and Large Deck!

Enjoy your day in and around the newly renovated Dock with plenty of shade, including use of 3 kayaks, 2 SUPs and Water Trampoline (May - October) safely tucked in our Gaston Main Lake cove. We also have Corn Hole, giant Jenga and Bocce Ball for outdoor games.

Evening options include the Stone Firepit, Oversized Screened Porch, Ping Pong, Air Hockey, Pool Table, Board Games/Puzzles and/or enjoying a movie or sporting event screened in your own Stadium-Seat Home Theatre!

The main floor hosts a large bedroom suite, guest bedroom, billiards room, gourmet kitchen, family room with gas fireplace (available November-March), laundry room and screened porched.

The bottom floor has a master bedroom suite, 2 guest bedrooms, kitchenette/bar (full fridge, sink, dishwasher), bunk area (open to theatre room), family / game room, theatre room and deck.

Family vacation
We had a lovely time at Shannon’s place. Our 95 year old matriarch and her 97 yr old best friend joined us. The house setup is ideal for large gatherings. Not only are there beds everywhere, there are 2 sets of washers and dryers, 3 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses and good silverware. Enough for any large event. Water access was perfect for us as well. Shannon is a marvelous host.

One of our nicest family vacations
Anything you need is there, especially if you have a boat. A son-in-law from New York State towed his boat and was able to launch it at the nearby marina. The “kids” (age 15-26) tubed, paddle boarded, and used various floating devices. Of course, there was the highly contested family corn hole tournament. In other words, we had fun.

Spacious and inviting home
We enjoyed our stay for the 2nd time there for my extended family. We love the setting on the lake and rented a boat and spent a lot of the time in the water or relaxing on the property. It accommodated our large group well and Shannon is a great host, willing to do whatever to ensure we have a great experience.. Don’t hesitate, book it before someone else.

Hottest Week of the Summer
Overall the house was excellent for out large family of 13. The 2 dishwashers, 2 sink and 2 refrigerators, 2 washer and dryers were amazing to keep everything organized. We only went out to dinner one night. The Pointe, has amazing food and we feed the large fish and Shannon responded quickly to any questions and concerns. The A/C was not working properly and she got a tech the next day and got it fixed. Wished the porch downstairs has less cobwebs so we could set there. The kids enjoyed all the games, the theater room and we rented a boat for most of the week. We put the boys in the bunk room witht the theater room, although it wasn't a private area, it worked out.

Great place to stay!
We rented this house for an extended family getaway and couldn’t have been happier! The house is so spacious and well laid out. There are plenty of places to be all together or to have quiet time inside and out. The pool table, ping pong table, theater room, and air hockey table provided hours of fun for our family. We were impressed by the kitchen’s stock of utensils, plates, serving ware, small appliances, and pretty much anything and everything we could have needed. By far, the best we’ve seen. There are two dishwashers and sinks, which freed us from spending much time hand washing dishes and being in each others’ way. The view of Lake Gaston is breathtaking! The grounds, lake access, and pier add to all of the great amenities inside the house. We made so many wonderful memories on this trip and would absolutely stay again!

Fun four family get away with kids in preteens
We highly recommend this house. Ophelia came through and made Saturday a complete washout, but there was so much to do in this house and the house was so nice to hang out in as a group beautiful open concept, spacious living area, and plenty of room for the kids to go elsewhere to get away from the adults. Pool table, ping pong and tons of board games and just some good old fashioned porch sitting made rainy day a great day. The owners were very nice and responses. We have no complaints.

The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The owner quickly responded to all questions and was friendly and helpful. One thing to be aware of if the bunk area is not a separate room but an open space connected to the theater room that is a pass though to the downstairs. It is not conducive to light sleepers. Not much else around here, but the house has a lot to offer that makes it not matter much. Lots of things for the kids to do and lots of elbow room for the adults. The kids bunk beds are more or less in the hallway so it isn’t private and quiet at all but the boys were so tired from swimming that it didn’t matter either. Kitchen is very well equipped.

A Dream Vacation
If there is such a thing as a perfect place for a family vacation, this is it. We have three married daughters who came with their husbands and kids. We have 6 grandsons and 2 granddaughters, the oldest is 25, the youngest, 15. (One adult granddaughter was not able to come because of a commitment for work) The sleeping arrangements worked out well. The four "families" take turns preparing a dinner, one night we got take out. This year we bought it at El Huasteco and really liked it. Thursday was leftover night. One son-in-law brought his boat. He put it in the water at the nearby marina and was able to use your slip. It worked out perfectly and we enjoyed countless boat rides, Your paddleboat and trampoline were enjoyed immensely by the grandkids and their parents while one grandson caught a nice bass off of the deck. On Wednesday night, a grandson organized a family cornhole tournament with assigned teams and the presentation of a "Commissioner's trophy". We played 60's & 70's music during the games. Thursday evening we built a fire in the firepit and made smores. The only thing we would change is that we would arrange for it to not rain on Friday morning when we were packing our cars to go home. Thank you for a great week. We have already booked for next year.

Our family of 16 enjoyed the upper level greatroom with loads of room for eating and cooking and hanging out together. The kitchen is well stocked with dishware and countertop appliances. We also enjoyed lots of time on the screened in deck with a lake view. We were in the water every day and used the boats every day. We did not realise the 3 bunkbeds pictured were not a seperate room. The 3 bunkbeds are between the media area and the bar area on the lower level. It worked out fine for our family and the grandchildren slept just fine. There is a great firepit on the property, perfect for smores. We played many games of cornhole. We recommend this well appointed property for your family vacation. We had a very fun week.

House was great, plenty of room. Kitchen is well stocked. Host was courteous and helpful. Provided instructions for house. Dock and float are good, has good swimming area and chairs on dock. Only negative was a steep walk to and from house to dock, this was hard for our elderly guests. Overall a fantastic place for a large group, family reunion.

So much room!!!
We had 4 generations staying in this property. We loved having so much room to move around, especially in the family room/kitchen area. The 2 tables that sat 16+ were a big win! We enjoyed the pool table being upstairs, near but not obtrusive to the rest of the living space. We were so thankful to the owner for working with us on the check-in and check-out times. The whole family thought this place was fantastic - all 6000 square feet of it! :) The two master suites are enormous. The bedroom with the 3 twin bunks is attached to the theatre room and is not a private room, since you have to walk through it to get upstairs from the other 3 downstairs bedrooms. We put our hardest sleepers in that room so it worked out ok. We so enjoyed our time on Lake Gaston!! Thanks to Shannon for all the help!!

Loved it!
We stayed at the property for a long weekend and our family loved the time spent there. The view from the screen porch looking at the peaceful lake is amazing. The house inside had a huge living room and two large dinner tables which allowed us all to eat together, play board games and just talk for hours. Sleeping arrangements worked out great. Also was very nice for the owner to let us check in earlier than check in time. We cannot wait to go back!
