Residing on 1,500 acres in Vermont, you can relax in the tranquility of this ultra modern, one bedroom, (sleeps 2), Vermont Mirror House that blends into and reflects the forest it is situated in. Surrounded by pines and a picturesque beaver pond, enjoy all that Vermont has to offer with shopping, arts, culture and restaurants just minutes away. Relax by the outdoor fireplace or view it from within the living room. Take advantage of your own sauna with lounge space and seasonal outdoor shower at the separate structure steps away from the main house. Walk public trails and country roads and explore Southern Vermont.

A spiral staircase connects the contemporary top floor living room with the lower level (bathroom, one bedroom with king sized bed, and huge eat in kitchen). Depending on your service provider, cell phones work indoors on the upper level and outside.

The Mirror House is owned and operated by the Viking Village Resort LLC.

Unique property amongst nature
Very fun unique place to stay. Didn’t have time to fully utilize all aspects of the property in our short stay but what a cool place! Host is VERY easy to deal with. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Enjoyed the mirror house very much. Very comfortable and very well equipped. Only suggestion would be that living heat doesn’t warm enough in the winter. But definitely not a reason not to stay again. Overall very happy and highly recommend

This property exceeded our expectations. The property was magical. The pictures do not do justice. If you are interested in this property, I highly recommend you book it. We stayed for one night it would be nice to say for two. What I didn’t realize about this property was that most of the building is underground this was the coolest feature ever I feel like this was an experience of a lifetime. If you’re afraid of the dark, I challenge you to book this property if your nature enthusiast book this property, if you’re a yogi book this property, if you’re reading this book this property!!! You will not be disappointed! The hosts were amazing their communication fantastic. I will be booking through this host again in the future.

This place was one of the most unique places I’ve stayed. Looks and feels like an authentic Viking village. When you go into your unit the wood work is phenomenal and amenities are modern and up to date. My wife and I highly recommend.

Bring your viking hats!
Mom and two twentysomething kids had a fabulous time staying her for a 3-day weekend. Younger "kid" is a dragon fan and loved all of the details in the cabin. Gorgeous, peaceful setting. We did day trips to hike at Pisgah State Park in NH, Brattleboro Art Museum and Culture Center on the one rainy day, and another hike to Harmon Hill on the Appalachian Trail with a beautiful overlook of Bennington and views all the way to NY, but exhausting. We really appreciated turning on the gas heating stove and getting cozy when we got back. We would definitely come back and recommend to friends, especially anyone who is up for some fantasy and adventure.
