My intended stay was for 2 nights, after spending the day at Disneyland worried about late check in they run my card and check in via phone. Process was simple I was happy. HOWEVER Walking to our room we saw some crackheads coming out of the elevator; ok not fully judging it off of them BUT once entering the room; the carpet - dirty, the sink. toilet and bathtub had hair the bathtub had paint in it.. The bed had lint on it, when my BF went to sit on the edge of the bed it just about flipped up and he fell off the bed, we laughed it off but when he went to sit on it again it happened again.. he is about 130lbs . We went downstairs decided to get a refund the front desk guy John was really sincere and didn’t give us a hard time. As we were leaving there was a family that booked a two bed room also came from Disneyland only to be told they were over booked and couldn’t do anything to help them at this point it was already 11:30, I’ve seen this happen before with Expedia.. On our way out the crack heads were arguing upstairs about who has more teeth, there was another couple of sketchy ppl lurking around, it just felt unsafe .
It’s been a week no refund has been issued. I called the hotel and the male that answered said call tomorrow . I asked if the other male employees at night was John and he said he didn’t know he was new.. I just wanted to confirm the guys name and got attitude almost as if I inconvenienced him as if it was him that drove back to San Diego at 12am
