7 Springcourt is a recently refurbished one bedroom ground floor apartment set in a quiet neighbourhood but only a 5 minute drive from Accra beach. The apartment is ideally suited for a couple and has been recently refurbished and redecorated, benefitting from a fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops and Bosch appliances (electric oven with ceramic hob, dishwasher, washer/drier, microwave and fridge/ freezer) The air-conditioned bedroom has a queen size bed, bedside cabinets, a large bespoke fitted wardrobe, ceiling fan and black-out curtains. The comfortable air-conditioned living room overlooks the pool and has a large sofa, comfortable lounge chair, coffee table, TV (cable TV), DVD player, CD player and ceiling fan. The dining area seats four and there are patio chairs, table and sunbeds for relaxing and dining outside. Fast broadband is available throughout the apartment. The property features a waterfall-fed communal pool and well kept tropical gardens. The delightful setting is at the end of Rockley New Road, a highly regarded peaceful residential cul-de-sac nestled behind Rockley golf course.

A review of the apartment…..
This unit is located in a quiet compound. A car is definitely required as it is a long walk to the beach and the grocery store as well as restaurants. Directly in front of the unit is a parking spot which is used by the upstairs owner and destroys the view and the ambience. The apartment is clean, however, it is tired and many items should be replaced, namely, the mattress and pillows as well as the pots and pans. When we arrived, we noticed that the mattress cover was stained badly, however, it was replaced very quickly. If one plans to stay in the unit for an extended period of time, you will need to purchase cleaning supplies and paper towels as none were provided. The unit is overpriced as compared to other units in the complex and athough it is nice, it is certainly not a luxury apartment. Lovely apartment
Great apartment for 2, everything there needed, nicely decorated, fully functional kitchen. Sun loungers, beach chairs, cool bag, beach towels there for your use. Great location & pool. Green monkeys & humming birds in the gardens. 15 minutes walk to the beach. 1 hour walk to Carlisle bay. 10 minutes car ride to St Lawrence Gap with all its bars & restaurants, 10 minutes the other way to the boardwalk & restaurants. Great communication with the owner John & also check in & check out with the friendly Dawn; in hand if you needed her help for anything. We would recommend staying here.

Relaxing Location and Everything You Need
John and Dawn were extremely friendly and helpful in advance of our trip. The apartment is well equipped, very clean and airy and the pool area is so relaxing with green monkeys popping by in the evenings to keep you entertained. The location is a bit of a walk from shops, bars and beaches so I would recommend hiring a car- driving around is very easy. Fosters Bakery nearby is definitely worth a trip for breakfast treats! A lovely week stay
We had a really lovely experience as first time VRBO customer and first time visiting Barbados. I was very selective of where to stay. John was brilliant with communication from the beginning with any queries I had. His assistant, Dawn, was just such a sweet and amazing person. Helped all the time at any time. The residential area was just relaxing, quiet, clean and only a short walk away from the mall and shops. The bus service is nearby and available. We really loved staying there as a couple. We had a small incident where a resident had invited family members and we couldn’t use the swimming pool on our last day but Dawn took care of it for future. I didn’t ask for a change of bedsheets but I’m sure that wouldn’t have been an issue. It’s be nice to have them available in storage. I would definitely recommend this apartment and the area. We were OK without a car but maybe I’ll rent INE next time for more flexibility as taxi fares were not the cheapest. Thank you so much for having g us and for making our stay so enjoyable.

Well managed property
An excellent first VRBO experience for us. The owner and property manager couldn't be more helpful. The apartment is well maintained with a clean accessible pool. The neighborhood is quite safe and excellent beaches and restaurants are not too far away. The only downside is that the walk to the beach takes about 25 minutes and the roadway is narrow, busy and without sidewalks for the most part. That being said, drivers are , on the whole, courteous and taxis are easily available. Overall, highly recommended.

OUTSTANDING
This is our first experience with VRBO and we are very impressed. Booking was easy and the owner was extremely communicative prior to arrival. Checkin with Dawn was an absolute breeze and checkout with Sharon was excellent. We have nothing but praise. The property was well maintained, clean and stocked with whatever we needed-even reusable grocery bags. We cooked breakfast, kept stuff on hand for sandwiches and ate out for dinner but could easil have cooked. It was quiet but everything easily available by car. Neighbors were friendly and we felt safe with use of simple common sense precautions Green monkey sightings, wake up calls from rooster and visits from the chickens were all icing on the cake.

Fantastic Accommodation
Lovely clean and comfortable apartment, recently redecorated throughout with very well equipped kitchen and plenty of storage space. The grounds and pool are immaculate. Lovely and quiet and had the pool mostly to ourselves. Handy space directly outside apartment to park hire car. Local beach is beautiful, preferred to drive (20 minute walk.). Would highly recommend this apartment.

A great place
The apartment is excellent. Easy check-in and check-out. Clean with all the amenities needed. The pool is lovely. It is about 15-20. minutes walk to the beach so you do need to be of average fitness otherwise its a taxi (and that's not cheap in Barbados). Rockley Beach is beautiful and clean. All the usual facilities are there. A ZR 'bus' is a great and cheap way to get around - a standard fare of only $2 will take you to Bridgetown or along the coast. Beware they drive madly! I can highly recommend the apartment.

Quiet and easy

A lovely apartment in a quiet and beautiful location
7 spring court has all the amenities you need including excellent AC and WiFi to keep in touch with home. The pool is a delight and ideal if you just want a quiet day watching the monkeys and cockerels. We didn’t bother with a car and found the 20 minute walk to the beach ok in the day though advise taking a 20 dollar taxi ride at night . Thanks to Brian who was most helpful in answering questions and sorting the few little glitches.

Good for our needs
When we first arrived we really were not sure about the location but it was fine. We felt we needed a car which was organised through Brian (he looks after the apartment). The apartment is well equipped but could do with a little TLC and made a little more 'homely'. The pool is right outside the patio doors (as you look at the picture the apartment is the one facing on the left). Sun loungers in the apartment were welcome and useful. Daily visit by the monkeys is amusing and the night song really made it feel like the Caribbean. Shakers restaurant is a 15 min walk away and is well worth a visit or 2. A very quiet location in a residential area. Approx 25 minute stroll to shops, restaurants etc.

Peaceful apartment with terrace by the pool
We spent a peaceful two weeks at 7 Springcourt and would happily return. Brian was very helpful and the apartment was spotless, comfortable and exactly as described. We nearly always had the beautiful pool to ourselves (with occasional entertaining visits from the green monkeys). We enjoy walking and made our way on foot to Accra beach, the Garrison historic area and Bridgetown several times. We highly recommend the Coffee Barbados Cafe next to George Washington House for great coffee and cake as well as delicious lunches. We also enjoyed taking a local bus to Oistins on Friday night. The second week we rented a car and explored the island: St. Nicholas Abbey, Flower Forest (which serves delicious simple lunches), Earthworks, Andromeda Gardens and Animal Flower Caves (a great lunch destination) are not to be missed. We were touched by the Bajan friendliness and look forward to returning.

The apartment had everything we needed. Met some of the fascinating friendly neighbours who were most welcoming. The management were terrific people and ready to provide info on best grocery stores and interesting restaurants and other special places on this beautiful island.

Wonderful time in Barbados
We had a wonderful 18 day stay at 7 Springcourt. It is in a small, well maintained complex and in a very quiet location. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We spent many hours relaxing on the patio, where there was always shade and a beautiful breeze. The pool was very enjoyable and only a few steps from our patio. The apartment was cleaned weekly, as well as the linens and towels changed. The wireless internet worked perfectly. John, the owner, was very accommodating and readily available to help in any way, as was also the local manager, Brian. We didn't do much sight seeing, as this was the fifth time we had vacationed in Barbados, and had already been to most places of interest. We did; however, take the three hour Historic Garrison tour, which runs on Thursday mornings. It was very interesting and informative. Our guide, Peter, was excellent and very knowledgeable. It was well worth the cost of the tour. We enjoyed a walk on the boardwalk and visits to the Hastings market. We had some great meals at restaurants we liked from previous years - Bert's and Cutters (on the east coast near The Crane), as well as some restaurants that were new to us - Shakers, Tapas, Just Grillin' and Champers. We had several up-close sightings of the monkeys during our stay. One day several walked on the driveway and along the fence right by our patio - with us sitting there! Another day, there were more than twenty of them (we lost count) that came over from the neighbour's property onto the wall beside the pool. Some stayed for a while, sitting, grooming, etc. then jumped down to the pool deck, ran across it, then off into the undergrowth and nearby trees. It was very exciting to see. We were able to get some good videos - so keep your camera handy! The website says that a car is recommended and we would agree with that. We did not have one, so took taxis where we needed to go - or at least down to the main road where we could then get one of the $2 buses that will take you pretty much anywhere. The taxis worked out fine for us and we found a driver who was very reliable and who we called regularly. The grocery store, Massy, has a free shuttle which will bring you back to the apartment, so that was very much appreciated. In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 7 Springcourt. It was a quiet, relaxing spot from which to enjoy Barbados. We had a wonderful time!
