The newly renovated bedrooms and bathrooms were pristine and very roomy, and the breakfasts were delicious, especially the local sausages. Stepping into the bar was like going through a time portal into the 1600's: there was a cozy fire burning, low beamed ceilings, and pewter tankards hanging from hooks. „Eine sehr schöne fast schon historische Hotelanlage mit schönem Park und sehr gefälligen Erscheinung. Einziger Mangel war das kalte Badezimmer durch sehr niedrige Aussentemperaturen (unter dem Gefrierpunkt). Dadurch hat der Komfort etwas gelitten.“
