The property was great, our kids enjoyed visiting the animals in the adjoining properties. The house itself is a quaint, country property.
Some information that may be useful for others staying; The house is a bit like a converted barn. Rooms are all open to the shared ceiling area of the broader house so noise and light do travel throughout the house. There was plenty of firewood available and there are a number of heaters, but staying in winter, the house was difficult to get warm. Additionally, the owners do work out of the garage (separated from the house) - this was a bit of a surprise to us and initially caused some concerns as our kids had been playing outside under the assumption nobody else would be driving in. After speaking to the owners this was less of a concern, but would have been good to know.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but would have chosen to stay elsewhere had we known the above.
