Sonnenschein und Meeresrauschen füllen mein sauberes, komfortables Strandhäuschen mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern in den 50er Jahren auf 1.500 Quadratmetern. Kunst von lokalen Künstlern in meinem ganzen Haus ausgestellt. Restaurants, Geschäfte und unser Strand sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Großer umzäunter Hof für Kinder und Haustiere zum Herumtollen. Schöner Garten zum Genießen. Saisonale Leckereien aus meinem Garten. Frische Eier, wenn meine Hühner liegen. Brettspiele für Groß und Klein. Kleine freie Bibliothek. Our now on go to for brookings
We used to stay in motels around Brookings until we found this place. It’s perfect for the whole family (even dogs as it is fully fenced) and you can’t help just wandering around the yard and relaxing in the hammock or backyard swings. This place made us slow down and enjoy the sweet moments of a family vacation. Jane really takes care in preparing the house down to the last little details that shows she really cares and loves her home and wants you to enjoy it as much as she does! Like adorable little painted rocks around the property, art/reading shed, fresh cut flowers and homemade carrot cake muffins. Seriously this place is the best. We will be staying again very soon.

Thanksgiving in Brookings
We had a lovely stay at Jane's artist bungalow. We were in town to see family for Thanksgiving. Three adults, two teens and our small oodles stayed comfortably in this sweet bungalow. Beautiful and convenient location. We loved the unique artistic details and many conveniences - plenty of kitchen supplies, books, dog towels, games, etc. Would stay again!

Jane, the owner, goes over the top making you feel welcome and at home. It was a later than usual check-in and I was tired from the unusual long drive over 199 but all in all it was wonderful, and that was due to the owner, Jane. The mermaid blanket is amazing! I highly recommend it.

Wow! What a space!!
Sea Breeze Artist Bungalow was more than advertised!! We had everything we needed for our stay, the yard was beautiful, the swings were awesome, the hammock was a great place to nap, and there was plenty of room for the pup! Oh, and I didn't even mention the flowers or trees or the Meditation Hut or the location!! Couldn't be more pleased with everything about our stay! Thanks Jane!!

Wonderful place to stay.
This is an older home but it does not feel like an older home at all. That speaks to the overall quality that Jane keeps this house in. It is truly an idyllic setting. Beautiful yard that our pups loved to run around in. There is a gate that easily closes to keep them secure. Bed was super comfortable. bathrooms were great. Everything we really needed. Less than a half mile to the beach which is perfect for running and also many great places for tide pools. We really cannot say enough goods things about this house and it may very well be the best VRBO property we have ever stayed in. Will gladly book again whenever we are through here and if it is available.

The house and gardens are great. The master bedroom is large and the bed was very comfortable. Jane was available to answer a question I had. My only suggestion is raise the mirror in the master bedroom bathroom. Any one over 5ft8 can’t see the top of the head, frustrating to fix my hair

Best stay on our anniversary trip.
This charming home was immaculate and welcoming. The owner left personal notes and the best carrot muffins ever! You were not left guessing how to operate any equipment, or location of items, as detailed notes were in each room. There was a delightful artist/reading shed in a back yard filled with a garden and hammock. Could not of been a more relaxing stay.

Didn’t want to leave!
This property will forever be my go to for places to stay in Brookings Oregon. Jane has thought of every detail and any little quirks of the house is explained, such as the light switch locations. She also has all the creature comforts so if you are thinking “I wonder if she has Q-tips”, just open a cabinet and you’ll find what you need. My dogs were so happy to play in a fenced yard while my fiancé and I enjoyed the sunset in the lawn chairs and tree swings. We will definitely be back!

It’s a Jewel!
What a jewel! The cottage was very bright, comfortable and artsy. The neighborhood was quiet and nice for getting rest. So close to the harbor and beach. We loved walking the dogs In the area. The yard had everything we needed. A fire pit, hammock, chairs hung from a huge Redwood tree, patio chairs, table., and BBQ and was fully fenced. The cottage and yards were immaculate. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you Jane for the special recognition of my daughter’s birthday.

Cozy home near the coast
As my son told us when packing up the car to leave, “You HAVE TO give Miss Jane a 5 star rating!” One of - if not the - best VRBO stays we’ve had. An abundance of hospitality, from welcome muffins and mints to shared suggestions for hikes, restaurants, activities with the kids, and more. Cozy & comfortable beds, enough room in the living room for all of us to spread out or gather to play games, a short walk to the port and several restaurants, and immaculately clean. The kitchen was clean and had all the things you’d need to make family meals, including a well-stocked spice cabinet, coffee, cocoa, and cooking utensils. Personal touches and tasteful decor throughout the home like home-grown lavender sachets and dried mushrooms, as well as work from local artists. Jane’s a delightful hostess who was available as little or as much as we needed her to help answer questions, get dining and hiking ideas, etc. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to stay during our week along the southern OR coast!

An overall amazing home rental experience!
My husband and I were so lucky to spend a week in Jane’s wonderful home. The personal welcome sign and delicious treats made us feel comfortable immediately. The house was extremely clean and so well stocked. There is literally EVERYTHING a guest could want, from basic needs (kitchen and bathroom items) to special amenities (dog items, toys, games, beach stuff, etc). The layout of the house, huge yard, and parking was great, but we especially loved the mud room. It was a terrific space for our dog’s crate, removing shoes, storing coolers, backpacks, etc after a day of exploring. It was clearly evident that being an owner operated vacation home makes this place a cut above with personal touches such as local art (loved Spencer’s works!), seasonal decorations, and excellent beach, trail, and restaurant recommendations. Thank you Jane for providing this special retreat for a relaxing vacation!

This was our second time at Jane's place and we loved it again. There was room for everyone, all the special touches made it welcoming, and we had fun playing games outside and in.
