„We rented the cottage property because it was close to family. Both the kitchen and bathroom has been update- we did not do any cooking during our stay so can’t comment on that area. But we really appreciate the instant hot water in the bathroom. We stayed in the upstairs bedroom which was comfy with lots of closet space and room. “

„House is spacious and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen that has everything you need. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were conveniently located on both floors. Everything was clean and tidy. It's clear Ron is doing continuous updates to the property, but that didn't bother us at all. Location is very peaceful with gorgeous views and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Ron is right on site and readily available if needed. We'd definitley stay again.“

„The house is in a beautiful location and is setup wonderfully to joyfully cook a big meal with a group of people. The house is comfortable and inviting, if a bit worn down (chipping paint, rust, and some dusty shelves). The beds are comfortable as are the sitting and living rooms. The jetted bathtub in the pictures was out of order and there are instructions not to use the wood stoves. The hosts have very distinct instructions and their personality was clearly showcased. “

„Family gathered from several different states for a large wedding event. We all enjoyed being able to be together in one place. The house wasn’t perfectly spotless and stained carpets and too many things on the walls but nothing terrible. It was all easily overlooked because we were all together with lots of room to spread out if needed.“

„Beautifully appointed home on a beautiful lake in Woodstock, CT. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, visiting nearby orchards and hiking the many scenic trails nearby. „My visit to Killingly Barnyard Studio was in one word, AMAZING!! It is so peaceful, quiet, friendly animals, wonderful hosts, and exactly as portrayed in their profile!! Pristine clean, new kitchen and bathroom, 3-sided wrap-around deck that faces only forest, corrals, horses and deer. There are great places to walk, with the sound of falling water and river to soothe your spirit. I would return in a second, any time! My Best Ever get-away experience!!!“

„My husband and I stayed here with another friend for a hockey parent's weekend and it was perfect! Very clean, had a stocked kitchen so we could cook some home cooked meals for our kids; lots of room for the 3 of us and the visiting boys to relax.
