"I absolutely loved being at the Wee Hobbit House, Scottlandyard in Brooktondale, NY. I am a 70 year old woman and went to upstate NY to spend time with my daughter and grandson. "This is a wonderful cabin in a beautiful setting. The stay was extremely enjoyable and the property is clearly well taken care of by the owners. The listing and photos are pretty accurate. i just wish it was a little more private , The house was very well set up to start the stay. There was really nothing we needed that was not already there besides food. It was a fun cabin and we will be back."

"The (3-6 person) yurt experience is truly wonderful. The yurt itself has an herb garden and 2 koi ponds onsite. Michelle is a gracious and kind hostess who ensured we were well taken care of. The yurt itself is very clean and comfortable and even comes with fresh local coffee! Based on the season, you may need insect (tick) repellent if you plan to traipse through the wildflower fields and woods nearby. We would love to stay here again and hope to do so in the near future."

"This property worked very well for the four of us. The home is spacious, clean, and well-stocked. The weather was too hot for us to take advantage of the outdoor offerings, but it was a very nice, quiet place for us to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The commute to Ithaca was manageable, but we would like to have closer or in town, I would highly recommend this property to travelers in the Finger Lakes who like privacy and lots of space."

"This was our 2nd time staying here (the first time in 2020). The location is perfect to both Ithaca and Trumansburg, the updated deck is just gorgeous, and the easy access to the lake with the kayaks and canoe make the stay even more relaxing. "The octagon is a perfect place to stay to explore the entire Ithaca area. I hiked every day, went kayaking on Seneca Lake, and ate in downtown Ithaca every night. The place is so peaceful and relaxing. I enjoyed the clawfoot tub after my hikes too!"
