„Great accommodation, very clean and well equipped 😊 Our hostess Jane was lovely. This was ideal for our weekend in and around Ludlow. Would definitely recommend annd return. Only slight drawback, is that there is no on site parking if this is very important for you. But there is cheap parking only a couple of minutes away. It was not a problem for us. “

„A lovely old building with uneven floors and stairs that made walking around funny! Room was comfortable and clean, had everything we needed. Breakfast was nice as was the owner. No complaints, except perhaps the limited ale/beer - could have had more variety of Hobson or other local breweries than lager/cider which meant we only stayed for one pint, before finding a pub that had beer we enjoyed. Shame really as it was a lovely old pub“

„Really nice pub, convenient for Ludlow and the Shropshire Hills. Winter weekend break for us, nice big clean quiet room, comfy bed, plenty of space and large bathroom. All the staff very friendly and efficient, had a nice meal there - steak well cooked - and the breakfast was tasty, good quality ingredients and served quickly and with a smile. The bar area was nice, log fire burning and lots of locals in there. One negative was the water temp in the shower - I imagine as it’s an old ...

„Great traditional pub in a suburban area ( visit to relative) wonderful publican and staff. Parking was very tight. Stayed in the room frequented by British rock stars Robert Plant and Christie McVie, which was a nice. Despite being next to rail station we heard nothing. Fabulous’full English’ breakfast - try it !! No elevator - quite a number of stairs. “

„There was no TV in the room, complained and it arrived at 9pm when I was getting in bed. No chair or desk (I was on business and need these items). Black mould wound window frames and excessive dust on shower extractor fan and above the curtain rail. The bed was like sleeping on a bag of rocks, very poor quality mattress. think I have been generous a 2 stars. A lot of money for not alot!“

„Lovely apartment clean and well layed out, but to have a microwave hob and oven I feel it should have pots and pans and cooking utensils. There is a tv mounted on the wall but no aerial lead so you could only get on demand programs. Coffee tea and sugar was provided. This is a new complex ( about a month old )and I understand that it’s still needs refining “
