„We Spent the last week of summer before school started back. We had a fantastic time. We spent one day in Beaufort/ Atlantic Beach and took another day to ride the ferry over to Ocracoke (that’s the best return on a single dollar ever!) The house was perfect for 4 children two adults and a dog. We had beautiful nights eating dinner on the porch and enjoying the sunsets, even the sunrises a few mornings . „This was a unique property due to its location. Although it was in a remote area, major attractions were within 30 minutes by car (and a few were only minutes away) Our host, Ruthie, was very accommodating and took us to an area fireworks show on the 4th. Her suggestions for restaurants in the immediate area were excellent! We enjoyed our chats with her and her extensive knowledge of the area was a definite plus. „Kind of rustic. The owner is great. If you have a question he will answer immediately. He will try to help any way he can. Plan to stay with him again. Good place to go if you want to get away. The closest store is 3 miles away.“
