„My partner and I stayed with our senior black lab mix over 4th of July weekend. We were looking for a quiet secluded spot for our doggo who hates fireworks and did not disappoint! „It was unique and an interesting piece of history. Views from the deck were fantastic. However, outside area around the plane could have been trimmed. Firepit was a mess and no desire to use it because it was in bad shape, not inviting. The dock was spongy and too small for two people to fish off of. Some of this may be due to recent rains. „Loved all the amenities available in the house from life jackets to toys, games, and movies. We really appreciated all the options for sleeping arrangements Property didn’t have a/c but owner said it was a mistake and will be correcting it on VRBO site and other than first night we didn’t need it. Be prepared to pack out your own garbage and dump is open on limited days, that was my only complaint. Otherwise our family had a terrific time at Pappas and will definitely return. “
