„The cabin was clean and covered the basics. The bed was not very comfortable and the AC unit did not cool the entire house well. The bathroom in particular stayed very hot. It was okay for a quick and cheap stay, but I wouldn’t want to stay more than a couple nights. We did enjoy the hot tub and appreciated good communication from the office when needed. “

„The cabin was immaculate and cozy. It was nice to sit on the porch with our coffee and listen to the rain on the roof. It rained the entire time we were there, but it was so peaceful we didn't care. Our only complaint — and it's a small one — the lighting isn't great. We couldn't read in bed because there are no bedside lamps. Other than that, we loved it there and would go back.“

„We had a wonderful time at the treehouse. The directions received were spot on and we had no issues finding it. The treehouse was thoughtfully stocked with snacks, coffee and tea and charging ports for all your electronics . They have signs posted to make clean up and leaving easy. I didn’t have to search emails to find what we needed to do but the signs don’t take away from the athletics. The view is incredible! „I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. „Sleepy Oak Cabin is a beautiful, clean, serene, & conveniently located property. It’s super close to cute/quaint Bryon City, an easy drive to Harrahs, beautiful views, & close to hiking trails. The fire pit & hot tub are added pleasures to relax by or in at the end of the day. The beds are comfortable. The hosts, Kelly & Chris, are very responsive & helpful.
