Welcome to the little cabin on the river. This unique and beautiful 1800's newly built cabin/house has wonderful views from all rooms on the Nantahala River. Set in the Nantahala National Forest. The river is popular for rafting, kayaking and trout fishing, mountain biking, and so much more. 300 Mystic River is mins from Bryson City, Great Smokey Mountain Railroad, Tail of the Dragon, and more. Also, only 50 mins from the Cherokee Harrah's Casino.

This house sleeps 6 adults comfortably with each room having king beds. Fully stocked kitchen and the great room that features a cozy old fashion fire stove 30 plus ft ceiling with 1800's old Amish oak barn timbers lighting, hardwoods throughout out, and Satellite TV. The views from the house and back patio will instantly go to relax all your senses and transport you into a state all euphoria for both the mind and soul! Imagine any evening in the hot tub or relaxing on the patio couch and outdoor fire pit or having a real cozy fire in the pit and roasting marshmallows. Just feet from the river. The large back patio and side porch are unbelievable for enjoying nature at its best and not to mention the sounds of the river!

*Please note the Wi-Fi service and cell phone service is spotty. No land lines are available in Cabin. If you really need to make a call you can drive approx. 7 miles down river to the NOC facility. They have great cell phone service there.
*Also, please note there is a house being built near the cabin so occasional noise from the construction.

Simply AMAZING!
I can't express how wonderful this house and location are. Before our stay, I thought a bit about the cost for a weeks vacation here but hours in to our arrival, the value of this rose by the minute. This place is truly second to none and provides such a unique view of the water, location to anything you would want to do and we just happened to be there while the weather was absolutely PERECT! The only thing we hated was the day we had to leave. Do yourself a favor and book this place, you will NOT be disapointed.

Perfect Mountain Retreat on the River
Beautiful new home directly on the Nantahala River. Modern and clean, with a beautiful outdoor space, we enjoyed watching the kayaks and rafters moving down the river. The host was attentive and the home was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The home was in close proximity to the Nantahala Outdoor Center which was our home-base for rafting and zip-lining.

My recent stay at this VRBO property on the Nantahala River was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings, spectacular sounds, and breathtaking views. The house itself was immaculate, well-appointed, and exuded a cozy yet luxurious charm that made us feel right at home. The interior of the house was very impressive. The open-concept living area was spacious and filled with natural light, offering unobstructed views of the river through large windows. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, and enjoy them on the spacious kitchen island or large table. Another highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the hot tub. Nestled on the deck with a perfect view of the river, it provided the ultimate relaxation experience. Soaking in the warm water while listening to the river was pure bliss. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful outdoors. The bedrooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated, providing a restful night's sleep with the soothing sound of the river in the background. The bathrooms were spotless and stocked with high-quality linens and toiletries, adding to the luxurious feel of the property. Location-wise, this VRBO couldn't be better. Riverside Retreat
Stayed for a long weekend with some friends. The house is wonderful. Very clean and nicely decorated. The outdoor space is great and the location is perfect. We spent so much time on the back deck watching the river it was perfect. Close to Bryson City and Andrews where there is plenty to do and places to eat.

Weekend on the Nantahala
This rental was wonderful. The home is laid out so well and had everything we needed to enjoy our long weekend. We chose to eat in the first night and the kitchen was well stocked. Linens in the bedrooms/bathrooms were nice quality and beds were extremely comfortable. Having the internet and Dish were great for watching SEC football on Saturday although the outdoors took precedence over football this past weekend. The home is designed extremely well with views from all rooms. The highlight of the property is the back deck with the fire table and the hot tub. This gated community provides amazing scenery but we think this lot is by far the best. The host was very accomodating and check-in was easy. We'll definitely be return guests. Absolutely loved the house and being right on the Nantahala. Convenient to towns (15-20 min) and very close to NOC and restaurants (10 min). The property was exactly as described and pictured. We enjoyed the back porch and watching the rafters go by. Would definitely visit again!

The most amazing place
I’ve been down the Nantahala at least 50 times in my life. This was my first time actually staying on the river. This house was simply amazing. The design features, the property and the furnishings were all perfect. Of all the properties in Mystic River, this one has the best run of rapids at its back door. It’s unbelievable. And the inside of the house was immaculate. The designers thought of everything. There isn’t a spot in the house where you can’t see the river. They even used mirrored backsplash in the kitchen — so even if you turn away to cook on the stove you can still see the river. We will definitely be back. The owners were also super accommodating and responsive. The wifi isn’t strong but I actually preferred that — forced our family to disconnect. No cell coverage and slow internet forced us to put our devices away and enjoy all the property has to offer.

Best House on the River!
Amazing location, amazing house! We rafted past Mystic Village last year and knew we had to reserve one of the homes for our trip this year! This home did not disappoint! The house was wonderful, spacious and comfortable for our family of four and goldendoodle - the amenities were fantastic (two gas fireplaces for convenience and a fire pit), large private rooms and bathrooms, comfortable furniture outdoors and just steps away from the river! The kids had a blast floating down the river when the water was low and it was a lot of fun watching the rafters wave as they passed by! We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return again!

We loved our stay here and didn't want to leave! The house and property are so beautiful and true to the pictures. We spent most of our time outside by the firepit and on the back porch. We enjoyed waving at the people rafting the cold waters of the Nantahala.

Wish this home was my own
This home is not only amazing but the neighborhood and the view is also. You are located in a private gated community, the home is feet from the river and the views are amazing. The home is brand new, state of the art, and all the appliances and furniture are new also. Downstairs Master with access to the back porch and river along with a spacious bathroom and large tile shower. You can sleep to the sound of the rushing river then wakeup and sip your coffee on the porch overlooking the river and watch the kayak's and rafters go by. I love to fly fish and the water up and down from this home is perfect for it. Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles and a private road for a relaxing run or walk. My daughter and I enjoyed roasting marshmallows over a camp fire or you can just sit and relax with the outdoor gas fire pit and enjoy the view. We booked a guided rafting trip at NOC and went right by the house and neighborhood. Will definitely be booking again for a truly relaxing time in an amazing home.
