„My wife and I decided to get away for a few days and we chose this lovely cabin near the Buffalo River. The area is obviously beautiful but we were blown away by the cabin. If only pictures could portray how cozy this place is! We enjoyed every night by the fire playing games and shooting pool. I highly suggest this property if you're looking for a secluded getaway in a fully-stocked cozy cabin!!“

„Everything was as advertised. Was clean and tidy and had all the basics needed. Comfy and warm inside even when temps dropped below freezing. Check-in was easy, owner was responsive and kind. Loved that we were surrounded on three sides by cow pastures and house was set back a ways from low-traffic road. Was very peaceful. But also only 10-15 mins from town. Would stay here again. “

„Buck Trout Lodge is a perfect location for trout fishing, relaxing and enjoying nature. The house was very clean and had everything needed to make a great stay. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cookware, and treats were waiting for us on the counter. Very welcoming. The beds were very comfortable. The host had great communication with us. We will definitely be back!“

I will say the carpets and walls could use a deep cleaning, they’re just a bit marked and stained from the years as well as some of the outdoor furniture, but most definitely not a deal breaker.
