„The house was nicely decorated for Christmas including a Christmas tree. I had a large family arriving at different days during the week. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a bathroom in the downstairs area. I would definitely stay there again!“

„What a great find! We loved our stay. The cabin was exceptionally clean (you can't tell they allow dogs) and in a serene area. We loved having the pond (and floating living room!) and caught some fish. My son enjoyed playing football and running around all the grassy areas and using the firepit for s'mores. We even ventured through the small woods to the shores of the Kentucky River which is just behind the pond. The pictures don't do this cabin justice. It's about a 25-minute drive to downtown ...

„We loved the location of this property for exploring the Lexington area! The neighborhood was so peaceful, great for taking a stroll, and an easy distance from the downtown sights, Keeneland, and the Kentucky Horse Park. The house was very tastefully decorated and clean and had all the amenities needed with consideration for the traveler in mind. We would most definitely stay at this home again!!“

„This was the most disgusting place I have seen. I cannot believe that this place is for rent,let alone on the VRBO site. This place is a disgrace to any rental,and if VRBO cares about a good reputation they will remove this place immediately !!!!!!! W e walked in turned around and left immediately, we couldn't stand the smell it smelled of mold and mildew horribly. DON'T RENT THIS PLACE.“

The hosts went above and beyond with little touches that made all the difference- extra towels, blankets and throws available, everything to make coffee, a lot of kitchen necessities, etc. The place was very clean especially for being pet friendly. „Had a great time at the house! We were in town for the Bourbon trail and Keeneland. The house was perfect for our group of 8 and remote enough that we got a great bang for our buck while still being able to get a bus for the bourbon trail. Plenty of room for people to sleep and the game room was really cool. The Captain’s quarters (master bedroom) was amazing! I’d definitely stay again. “

„Lovely property, very child friendly inside, beautiful big tables for family style meals, nice kitchen if you like to cook, wonderful master bedroom and areas to relax and play in. WiFi and everything worked nicely. The hosts were wonderful to communicate with. Sunrise by the water with a hot cup of coffee is a very nice experience. Also it was clean. We very much enjoyed our stay! Thank you! “

„Sam was an awesome host. He stopped by several time to ensure we could get the bonfire going and once to drop off some beverages for us to try. The lodge is very spacious, there were four couples and with five bedrooms we all had plenty of room. There were multiple different activities we could do including bags, hot tub and patio tables to play cards and hang out! If ever in this area I would highly recommend staying. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly.We will be back soon! “
