„The location of King’s Kastle on Salmon Lake is excellent. The lake is wide at that point and offers great views of the sunrise, particularly from the upstairs master bedroom suite. The lake has less development than others where we have stayed in Maine. We enjoyed seeing loons, eagles, and osprey which are abundant. „The cabin is beautiful, well equipped, and an easy drive to Belfast. Communication with the property managers was excellent. Belfast is very nice and the walk along the river was just excellent. Aside from groceries we only did window shopping which was abundant. I marked the location three stars as the woods, as you would expect, were very buggy with very many ticks. Not a great spot for dogs. Otherwise very nice and we enjoyed our stay.“

„Property was as expected. No frills just a small cabin, clean and has everything one would need. Landscaping and some updates needed but not required. A little more “rustic” than I thought but overall it was a good stay.“

„We had an amazing stay at the property. It was stocked well with all of the essentials that make a rental house easy to enjoy. (Spices, oil, sugar, ziploc bags, extra toothbrushes, wireless speaker, etc.) We brought our 19’ bass boat and caught a few dozen smallmouth and largemouth bass around the pond. Swimming was easy and fun, with brownie points for the steps with handrail that led down into the water. We saw so many loon families and enjoyed their calls. Thank you for a great visit!“
