Zeitgenössische Creekside Barn

Schöne, kürzlich renovierte Tabakscheune neben dem kühnen Bach. Ein Schlafzimmer mit neuem Queensize-Bett und einer Couch im Wohnzimmer. Massiv auf Veranda neben Bach gescreent. Öffnen Sie Ihre Tür und genießen Sie die Geräusche des Wasserfalls in der gesamten Wohnung. Komplettes Badezimmer mit Schiefer gefliesten begehbaren Dusche. Der Küchenbereich der Küche umfasst eine Mikrowelle, einen Toaster, ein Spülbecken, einen Mini-Kühlschrank und eine Konvektionskochplatte. Veranda umfasst Weber Gasgrill, Hängematte und Esstisch.

Der geräumige, abgelegene Garten umfasst eine Feuerstelle und einen mutigen Bach, ein großartiger Spielplatz für Kinder und Erwachsene.

Während der Raum auf einer Etage liegt, ist er über ein paar Stufen an der Haustür erreichbar.

Küche & Kochen ...
Die Pantryküche ist für kurze Aufenthalte mit Töpfen und Pfannen, Utensilien usw. sowie einer Umluftkochplatte, einer Mikrowelle, einem Toaster, einem Grill auf der Veranda zum Kochen und einem kleinen Kühlschrank gut ausgestattet. Beachten Sie, dass es weder einen Ofen in voller Größe noch einen Gefrierschrank gibt.

Schlafarrangements ...
Neben dem Queen-Bett im Schlafzimmer kann die ausziehbare Couch im Wohnzimmer für ein oder zwei kleine Personen schlafen. Eine Schlafmatte, die sich in der Couch befindet, kann zusätzlichen Komfort bieten oder eine Palette auf dem Boden bilden.

Unsere Scheune befindet sich in der Gemeinde Pensacola, südlich von Burnsville, eingebettet in die Black Mountain-Kette im Schatten des Mount Mitchell, dem höchsten Gipfel östlich der Rocky Mountains. Das Hotel liegt etwa 8 Meilen südlich von Burnsville, etwa 30 Meilen von Asheville, NC.

Burnsville ist 10 Autominuten entfernt und beherbergt mehrere nette Restaurants, einen ausgezeichneten Supermarkt, eine Brauerei und nette Geschäfte.

Einfacher Zugang zu Wanderungen wie der Black Mountain Crest Trail, der Big Butt Trail und vieles mehr. Eine ausgezeichnete Talstraße, die für das Rennradfahren beliebt ist, folgt dem malerischen Zuckerrohrfluss.

Mt Mitchell ist weniger als eine Meile von der Scheune entfernt, aber die Fahrt dauert etwa 45 Minuten, da die Straßen durch die Black Mountains und um die Black Mountains führen, um vom Süden zum Mt Mitchell zu gelangen.

Nur 15 Meilen von den national bewerteten Navitat Zip Line-Abenteuern in Barnardsville entfernt.

Die weltbekannte Penland School of Crafts ist nur 35 km entfernt

The property was just as it explained, we explored during the day and spend most evenings hanging out on the back porch. My husband is in construction himself and absolutely loved the wood work, as did I. Short drive into Town with a grocery store close and downtown area was cute to walk around.

We stayed here 3 yrs ago and loved it. It was even better this time with a newly remodeled kitchen added. The owners have thought of everything it really feels like a home away from home. Everything about our stay was really wonderful! The property is beautiful and the home is clean and quaint. The screen porch is amazing and we loved sleeping with the doors open and listening to the creek. Get your groceries before you hit the property if you plan to cook. The cabin is a great home base for a weekend of hiking and relaxation. Would definitely stay again!

Very well decorated and renovated barn. Quiet and peaceful stay. Great location and the sound of the stream was amazing. I encourage people to do two things. Look for different things throughout the barn. There are hidden things to do. Also, take the gravel road out. Very scenic drive.

The cabin was secure and peaceful. The stream directly outside the large screened in port creates a serenity not know in the city. The decor was nostalgic and well placed. The property manager check in on us with a simple text to be sure we arrived safely. I highly recommend this quaint yet spacious cabin!

The barn was well-furnished with just about everything one needed for a stay of even several days! There were even a number of spices, seasonings, and other cooking items so that one did not need to bring everything to prepare meals, if desired. The babbling stream just outside the enclosed deck, the hammock, the games (darts, ping-pong, jigsaw puzzles, etc.), cable TV (though we didn't use it), videos, high-speed internet, comfortable bed, decor and furnishings, . . . --all of these and more made for a wonderful time away from the normal hustle and bustle of everyday life! The owner was quick to communicate answers to questions we had, as well. Located nearby a number of hikeable waterfalls, beautiful scenery, and laid back towns further added to the enjoyment of our time away!

Amazing and Unique Expierience
The Creekside Tobacco Barn was everything and more than advertised. First off, let me say the craftsmanship put into this building is what set it apart from others. You can remodel any building, but few can remodel with unique craftsmanship. Old-style building with custom modern charm. From wood slab counter to airplane wing table to sliding barn wood doors for privacy. The place was clean, well equipped for one night to an extended stay. We were there during a tropical storm with much rain, no musty smell, warm and dry. The outside screened in porch was amazing and the sound of the creek was wonderful. The only regret we had was not being able to spend more than one evening at this amazing gem of a property. We highly recommend this property to anyone venturing out for a quiet place to stay in the mountains of NC.

Nice night at the barn
It was Labor Day weekend I was lucky to find this place at the last minute. Very nice and very secluded stay back away from the everyday hustle and a good place to go to decompress and get some country air. Over all the barn was nice and clean, very nicely decorated which I loved, had a very good and fast wifi connection and more options that you can think of as far as movies or finding something to watch on TV!! And I have to also complement on their coffee selection and spice rack; loved the variety of coffee and spices to cook with there for your use also! The only 2 minor things that I would have like to have had would have been a maybe a blind or curtain for the front door and a bug zapper on the back porch other wise this place is a very good place to go to site see the mountains country side and take some time to just relax and unwind!! Will be booking again in the near future!! Love the Barn!!

We only stayed one night but I wish we would’ve had more time. This place was very clean and the owners were very considerate with all the amenities they have for their quest. The bed is extremely comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen but the couch is comfy and listening to the creek run is very relaxing. Favorite rental in the area- extended our stay. Had a very hard time leaving.
After living in and around Asheville for about 6 years, I often like to visit and have stayed in a TON of really cool rentals like treehouses and urban lofts etc. This was hands down my favorite. The attention to detail, thought and care put in to the tobacco barn and property... It's cozy, calm, updated, clean, perfect. The porch and creek won my heart (pssst. theres a ping pong set up in the corner cabinet!) but the bed was also incredibly comfortable, the colors tasteful, bathroom tile felt great... John was quick to respond when I contacted about extending our stay. I didn't want to leave. We even went on a bookmarked hike found in one of the books on the shelf to check out the Ray Mica Mine... we never found the exact place to collect rocks/gems but had a great time getting lost and climbing up a mountain past several mines... Cannot WAIT to come back many more times. Thank you for creating the most special getaway to date.
