Discover serenity in our 2-bedroom, 2-bath cozy cabin nestled in the woods. Enjoy the warmth of a stone fireplace, unwind in the covered outdoor living area, and rejuvenate in the inviting hot tub. Your perfect escape awaits. Whispering Pines is minutes from Snow Trails Ski Lodge, Mohican State Park, and Malabar Farm State Park

We do not live on site but we are nearby and are available if needed.

Whispering Pines is located on 5 beautifully wooded acres.

While the property is rural it is within minutes of Loudonville, a quaint town with many options such as boutique shopping, restaurants, canoeing, an aerial park, go carts, mini golf, and more!

Mohican State Park, Malabar Farm, Snow Trails, and Amish country are within a beautiful and short drive from the cabin making for unlimited fun day trips!

While Whispering Pines is only a short distance off of a state route the driveway is gravel and somewhat steep. During the winter months (December 1st-April 1st), it is advised that all renters should have a vehicle equipped with either four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) to access the property. This requirement is essential for ensuring safe and reliable transportation to and from the rental property, especially during periods of inclement weather such as snow, ice, or other hazardous conditions.

Step into our inviting 2BR, 2B Whispering Pines cabin, and you'll instantly be enveloped by a warm and rustic ambiance. A full eat in kitchen flows easily into the living area featuring a rustic stone fireplace for those cozy cabin vibes Step outside and you'll find a covered living space, fire pit, and hot tub. Year after year, our guests return to this haven to escape the daily grind and reconnect with nature, as well as cherished friends and family.

This is a rural property. We are within easy driving distance from Mohican State Park, Malabar Farm, Snow Trails Ski Lodge, Amish country, and more.

We do accept up to 2 dogs. Just let us know you're bringing the prior to arrival!

We do not provide firewood but there is a roadside stand that sells firewood just around the corner from the Mohican Pines cabins. The phone number is 419-632-4278. The address is 2318 State Route 97, sometimes referred to as Cleveland Street. It’s self serve.

Last minute getaway
Super cute cabin. Semi-private overall (can see the road but not sure how much can be seen from the road). Hot tub and burn pit with outdoor lighting very cozy. Short distance to walking trails and parks. We had a great stay. Pet friendly.

Excellent, cozy, peaceful place to stay. We enjoyed every minute. We made good use of the outdoor space, the firepit, the hot tub, and the grill. It's in a peaceful wooded setting, but very close and convenient to neighboring towns. Book this place- you will not be disappointed!

Weekend at Mohican!
We had a great time! Cabin is super clean and is decorated very nicely! It had everything needed for a comfortable stay! The welcome bag for our pup was very nice too! He loved it there as well! Hosts are very responsive to any questions which is great too! We will definitely return! ❤️

Weekend getaway
We took a weekend away from our kids to unwind. This cabin is more spacious than we anticipated. With 2 bedrooms and an extra room/space with a day bed that could reasonable accommodate 1-2 more. It is tucked away on a quiet hillside, providing a serene escape. The hot-tub was clean and relaxing with a great view. The fire ring had comfortable Adirondack chairs to unwind in. It is a reasonable drive to Mohican for more adventures as well. Overall our stay was wonderful and we plan on choosing Whispering Pines again in the future.

Family Reunion
We originally came to Ohio to go to INKcarceration and we loved the festival! Will definitely be back again! My mom tagged along for the trip and got to see about 15 of her cousins she hadn’t seen in over 25 years! It was a great surprise for her and I got to meet some family for the first time. The Whispering Pines Cabin was the perfect retreat for after the festival and our dogs enjoyed the beautiful scenery too!

Fast Get-Away to Slow Down
Just as described and nice. It rained a lot but we still had a good time using Whispering Pines as our home base. We would have liked to use the outside hot tub & fire pit but weather didn’t permit. Plenty of clean towels and a helpful booklet of things to do in the area.

Amazing trip
We booked this beautiful cabin for my Moms 60th birthday get away, and literally fell in love as soon as we got there! It was the perfect spot for all of us, including my little dog. The host is amazing at responding and checking in! We would love to come back.

Fabulous Getaway
The cabin was clean and very comfortable. Communication with the host was a breeze. The outdoor lights were on when we arrived in the dark which we really appreciated. The covered outdoor space was fantastic to hang out rain or shine. We hiked some trails with our pooches and the hot tub was wonderful afterwards. There were so many little touches in the cabin, it is more than obvious that the hosts really care about their guests having a great stay. We never used the television, but the Wifi was great while we were there as cell service wasn't good which we already expected. We hope to visit again!

Perfect getaway place!
We had a great girls getaway weekend at Whispering Pines! We were able to take advantage of the fire pit, the hot tub, and updated cabin that had comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen that had everything we needed to cook up breakfast, lunch and dinner. We fit in a hike and a visit to Loudonville to shop at the cute boutiques. We’re hoping to make this an annual trip and would love to come back again.

Very Relaxing!
This is the second time we have stayed at Whispering Pines. It is absolutely the perfect place to relax and it is secluded but still close to town to get necessary things. Jodi and Jason were fantastic with everything there that we needed. They were also very quick to respond to any questions we had while we were there. It is such a nice comfortable cabin to stay in everything was great! Highly recommend this place.

Great place for a friends getaway
This place is close to the snow trails and provided the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing weekend getaway with friends. Jodi was very responsive and hospitable. The entire property is maintained well and you can tell how much they care for this place. Watching the stars by the fire and the hot tub made our nights memorable. Wonderful Cabin in the Woods!
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin and it was very close to Snow Trails! The cabin was spotless and it had everything we needed. We enjoyed soaking in the nice hot tub under the tall pines after a day of skiing. The living room is very cozy with a nice gas fireplace. The master bed was very comfortable and the owners did an excellent job of communicating with us both before and during our stay. We look forward to renting the cabin in the future!

Family get away
Such a cozy cabin in the woods, perfect for a weekend getaway. My husband and our 4 daughters ages 15,13 and 10yr olds, and I stayed a weekend. The girls, especially enjoyed the hottub. The cabin has almost everything you need to snuggle in and not leave. We werent impressed with Ducky's restaurant in town, but it was the only thing open Friday evening (just an FYI). The host is great with communicating! We would definitely stay again!

Comfortable and relaxing
We had a wonderful weekend at Whispering Pines cabin! Everything was so well appointed and comfortable. The master bedroom and bathroom were particularly restful, and the hot tub was a welcome soak after a beautiful fall hike in Mohican. We had a cozy fire in the fireplace at night and happily prepared our dinner together in the kitchen. Loudonville, which offered shopping and restaurant options, was only a short drive away. We enjoyed treats from Mohican Country Market. Overall, it was a wonderful place to get away and relax. Thanks so much to Jodi and Jason, and we hope to come back again!
