„The host was friendly and helpful, but I suggest a review of the needs of a traveler be re-considered as the space is very basic eg no extra cutlery, glassware, plates or coffee mugs if inviting visitors to the room. One hand towel only was provided. Self - catering essentials to support the traveler were minimal eg no cooking spray or oil. No cushions, no extra pillows to provide additional comfort. Shampoo, conditioner and soap also minimal. “

„It was wonderfully clean, modern and yet very comfortable. Every wish was catered for right down to some complimentary chocolates. However, the best thing of all was the heavenly, adjustable bed - pure bliss for an old back and wrecked knees! Thank you so much Michelle, our stay was far to short but it was great.“

„Really tidy and warm cabins (we stayed in August), perfect space for 2 people - underfloor heating was a big winner. Alex welcomed us warmly, great communication and gave great recommendations to suit our interests, even a spot to photograph aurora. Some noise noticeable through the adjoining wall and balcony with the neighbouring cabin, but not crazy. Quiet spot and handy to attractions in the area - we'd stay again!“

„We booked this accommodation as a 4-day fieldwork base. The mill house has its idiosyncrasies. As long as you set your expectations for camping conditions in a remote part of the world, you will find the structure to be sufficient. The location is spectacular and the jetty is very impressive. All team members expressed their satisfaction with their stay and would book it again for similar work.“

„The house has a lovely view across the bay and is close to the ferry as well as cafes and the local hotel for evening meals. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, but the kitchen is poorly equipped if you do choose to stay in for a meal. There was also a problem with the pump, which needed to be reset frequently.“
