The cottage has a rustic, welcoming charm, offering plenty of space for a family of six to relax and connect. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, the property features a stunning pool area that feels like a natural oasis tucked into the rainforest. It’s a tranquil escape, yet conveniently located just a ten-minute stroll from the beach, local eateries, and cozy cafes—a unique and enriching experience you won’t want to miss.

The cottage itself is thoughtfully designed with three comfortable bedrooms upstairs, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. Downstairs, you’ll find a spacious open-plan kitchen, lounge, and bathroom, all with a relaxed and homely feel. The garden is a true highlight, brimming with vibrant tropical plants, while the swimming pool is beautifully nestled into the landscape, offering a serene spot to unwind and soak up the atmosphere.

Holloways Beach, where Serendipity is located, is a relaxed seaside village that exudes year-round holiday vibes. Just 15 minutes north of Cairns and 20 minutes south of Palm Cove, it’s the perfect base to explore Far North Queensland. The village has a selection of charming cafes and restaurants, all just a short walk from the cottage.

For recommendations, we love Strait on the Beach for its laid-back vibe, Two Blocks Café for excellent coffee, and Holloways Pizza and Pasta for a family-friendly dinner option. The area also offers a sun-kissed beach with foreshore parks, as well as walking and cycling trails where you can enjoy the scenery at your own pace. Time your visit for the second Sunday of the month, and you’ll get to experience the Holloways Beach Market, a lively local event.

Adventure seekers will also find plenty to do in this region. The Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest are must-visit destinations, perfect for day trips filled with incredible natural wonders. There’s no shortage of water-based activities, from scuba diving and snorkeling to kayaking, sailing, jet skiing, stand-up paddleboarding, and deep-sea fishing. No Unregistered Guests: Only registered guests are allowed on the property. No unregistered visitors are permitted inside the property.

This property has a strict no party, no smoking, and no pet policy. Any breach will result in immediate cancellation or eviction.

Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM via self check-in with a key safe.

Check-out is before 10:00 AM. Unauthorised late check outs may incur a fee. Please follow the check out instructions sent to you and make sure you are familiar with where to leave your keys.

Guests may be charged for additional housekeeping if the property requires extra cleaning time.

Guests may be charged for replacing lost keys or fobs as well as a call out fee, if required.

Any smoking inside the property will result in charges to have the property professionally deodorised and furniture and carpets steam cleaned.

Cancellation Policy: Our cancellation policy is firm. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover your trip in case of emergencies, illness, extreme weather, etc. Any refund requests outside of our cancellation policy will be declined. We are happy to provide documentation to your travel insurance company to help expedite your claim.
