„Great location to get between our ski destinations in the area. Love the big entryway for gear. Roomy living area. Excellent appliances. Comfortable rooms and beds. Bunks are great for the shorter adults or for kids. Heat was even throughout the house and much appreciated.“

„Our family of six plus an old dog had a fantastic time at Stella’s Hideaway. Everything we needed was already there. The Hideaway was perfect for game time and the beds were cozy. The wifi was strong. The sauna was warm and eucalyptus oil was available for the water bucket. The shoreline ice was dramatic and mesmerizing out the many picture windows. We skied daily at Swedetown and enjoyed visiting shops in Calumet. Thank you for the wonderful memories!“

„My great grandparents are from Calumet. My great grandfather worked at the Quincy mine. I always enjoy when we can stay in the area and visit the old store fronts downtown, learn history etc. We brought the kids on the "lights out" tour of the mine and they had a blast. With the storm that came through one night, my mom took the kids out (okay all kids, lol) and went Yooper light hunting. My son, who is 19, said it was the best vacation yet. „My wife and I had a wonderful time at this property. It is exactly as listed and the views are simply stunning. The best day of the trip was the day we snowshoed around the property with the snowshoes provided. There is a clearly marked trail through the woods and a map of all the trails in the house. The house is well insulated and the wood burning stove is easy to use. Plenty of pots and pans so we cooked every meal in the house. We will definitely be coming back to see other seasons. “
