You know how when you go to visit your friend at their English country estate, and you stay in the guest cottage on the grounds, and from the moment you arrive everything is cozy and lovely and everything you need is provided for you before you even realize you need it?
Neither do I (and clearly I need some wealthy English friends), but I imagine it would be a lot like staying at Coopers Cottage. I have stayed in larger rentals, and I have stayed in grander rentals, but I have never stayed in one where I felt so absolutely cared for.
The cottage was immaculately clean and totally comfortable; Kim has clearly anticipated everything her guests might need, from kitchen utensils to toiletries and other incredibly thoughtful touches. I have never been in a rental that was so well-equipped.
Kim made herself available if we need anything, but thanks to her preparations, we never did. She also called to let us know when someone would be performing work in the yard so that we wouldn't be alarmed.
Speaking of the yard, it's as charming as the house, with roses, a trellis twinkling with fairy lights, and comfortable seating around an outdoor wood burning stove. (Of course, Kim provided wood for the stove.)
We had four adults in the cottage quite comfortably. Although the place technically sleeps seven, that would be a tight fit unless several were children; one of the bedrooms features a bunk bed with a single on top and double on the bottom.
Thanks for everything, Kim!
