„We stayed for a few days to work in peace while our roof was being redone, and the space was perfect for it. The dogs loved running around the hilly yard (there's no grass). We loved how comfortable the bed was! The neighborhood was extremely quiet, and there's a great view of the Sound out the front windows. The sauna was a bit too small for us (we're both tall), but the shower was hot and had great water pressure. And the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals while we were there, ...

„The property was in a beautiful setting with a view of the ocean. Im not used to neighbors as close as they were but it was a quiet neighborhood which we tried to maintain also. The house was well appointed with most everything you'd need to prepare a meal, just be sure to purchase cooking spray and plastic wrap or tin foil if they are going to be needed. And definitely don't attempt the driveway from a right hand turn, being there I can see why those instructions are given. “

„Absolutely loved my stay here. I was looking for a nice place to escape from everything and this was perfect! Beautiful views of the deck, and on the beach, and even driving to the house. Super clean and simply, yet perfectly decorated. Stocked with anything you could need. Very responsive and helpful hosts, and clear directions listed. „We only spent two nights but really enjoyed the weekend break. Quiet location and the internet was surprisingly good so we could stream a movie with no issues. Yes there were a few spiders and the cell reception was non-existent but that was our goal. We love stopping by Langley and Freeland so this location was perfect. We did manage to be sucessful with our trout fishing which was an added bonus. Only improvements I could see would be to do some work on the shower so it doesn't leak ...

„We booked this house because of its proximity to friends who live on the island and the views, as shown in the listing. The house is well stocked and the views are gorgeous. Many reviews comment on how old the house it is, but I found it in great shape/ functional and clean. It also has a special beach charm. My only concern is that the “kid’s room” has its own entrance/ exit. We used outdoor chairs to “barricade” the door at night to ensure safety while sleeping. An exterior lock would be nice ...

„Tucked away from everything. Quiet and peaceful. Good view of the water. The neighbors helped us find the path down to the beach that was at the end of the street. The communication was great! It was about an hour away from Deception Pass state park. Be aware there is no AC, we were able to cool off with having windows open in the evenings and early mornings.“
