Gut: Sauberkeit
Verbesserungswürdig: Ausstattung und Zustand der Unterkunft
My stay at The Copper Hotel, SureStay Collection by Best Western in Camp Verde, AZ, was nothing short of a nightmare. This property has issues that make it not just uncomfortable but downright unsafe, Accessing the second floor requires climbing steep steps—14 from one side of the building and 21 from another—without any flat resting areas. While I’m not certain about Arizona’s building codes, this design seems to violate regulations in many U.S. states and poses a significant hazard.
The hotel’s condition is unacceptable. The office furniture and the interior—including the rooms—was outdated and unclean. Worst of all, the building allows unauthorized access through a second entryway.
Noise was constant throughout the night, coming from neighboring rooms, the refrigerator, and plumbing. Around 3:00 AM, I was awakened by someone persistently knocking on a nearby door—at least eight times. When I opened my door to investigate, I noticed a young girl wandering the hallway. Disturbances continued with loud partying from other rooms.
The staff added to the unpleasant experience. The morning front desk attendant was dishonest, shortchanging me by $3 during a transaction. Adding insult to injury, I checked into another hotel the following day, which was cleaner, more modern, and charged nearly half the price of The Copper Hotel.
Overall, I urge federal and state agencies to inspect this property and consider enforcing a demolition order.
