„Had to take a few days to cool down before writing a review for this. This is probably our last time using Vrbo, so we’ll speak our minds. Biggest problem was the plumbing. There were sewage backups three of the five mornings we were in the home. We essentially couldn’t use toilets or showers half of the days of our stay. Our friends had to bail sewage from a shower as we waited 2+ hours for a plumber. Plumbers came three days in a row without actually fixing the problem. The host blamed us for ...

„We had an excellent time at the Ranch Almaden the video you see on YouTube does not do it justice. We had about 30 people attend our 10 year wedding anniversary and all of my guests felt they were at a far away luxury destination. We used the pool and Spa and all was great, we will be reserving this location again.“

„This property has a very large picturesque backyard with a heated pool, garden, and a pond. There is a BBQ grill that we were able to use. The kitchen is spacious. The amenities are great and elevated our stay! There is one small thing that could be improved: the indoor carpet has lots of stains and looks a little dirty. However, this did not bother us much. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations and we had a very pleasant stay. I would recommend this place for groups.“

„This was a great place to stay. Close to all, especially walks to the beach and even to the Farmer’s Market one day. The house was roomy- great kitchen!!! Bedrooms ample size- and the master bedroom really spacious. Ed, the host, was very timely with all communication. Perhaps a few more throw blankets and extra stock of bathroom towels would have been nice. Although there is a washer and dryer in the house. Also a recommendation for more kitchen knives - we cooked a lot of our meals there. ...

„We rented the penthouse apartment/top deck and the 3rd floor villa for 9 adults. Fantastic views and huge kitchen to cook group means. Absolutely will rent this villa again if/when we are doing the Santa Cruz Ironman or anytime with a group. Indoor, secure parking appreciated also. 1 block from the beach and pier. The manager is readily available if/when questions come up. “

„The hot tub did not work. And was not advised. Owner did not informed us and knew a month prior. We choose the property for the hot tub. Was very disappointed. There was not enough hot water for everyone to shower. otherwise the property was beautiful. The view was beautiful as well. We had a great time.“
