Set in the beautiful Upstate of South Carolina, this tiny home is located at The Retreat at Uproot Farms. Uproot Farms is a quiet & peaceful place with beautiful pond & mountain views. The tiny house offers a cozy living experience while feeling open, spacious, and bright. Serenity.
We had such a great time here. It was so peaceful being able to sit on the porch and enjoy the sunsets, read in the mornings and feel like you were at a peaceful retreat away from the world. Fishing & pedalboating on the pond with the kids. Everyone loved feeding the ducks every day and also was able to enjoy fresh duck eggs for breakfast every morning. Plenty of farms around the area offering raw milk & fresh produce. It was summer so too warm for a bonfire, but I'm sure that’s amazing when it’s cooler out. The fall is probably beautiful. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway by yourself, with your partner, or with your small family, this is a great place to stay.

Perfect little getaway
The tiny house was the perfect little getaway for my daughter and I. Just 30 minutes from Converse, it was very easy to participate in the weekend’s activities at the university while allowing us to return to the quiet of the property for needed rest and relaxation as our school years come to an end. Sitting on the dock was a great way to spend an afternoon catching up with each other. Thank you for creating the perfect little oasis for us.

The pictures and description of the property are spot on! It has everything you need for a relaxing & comfy stay. From the beautiful view of the pond, the sunsets, the mountain tops & adorable ducks, this tiny home is a true gem. Not to mention spotless! This tiny house could not be more perfect! It was super clean, everything you could possibly need was there, and the setting was beautiful. Our hosts thought of everything, even a little bucket of feed for the ducks in the pond. I highly recommend this beautiful little spot. I hated to leave.

Truly perfect
Planned a birthday weekend for the wife and had some friends come stay with us too. As long as you’re cool with the 2 twin beds (which we knew about prior to the stay) then this place is perfect for 4 adults. The property was beautiful and we all loved feeding the ducks. It was a very personalized experience. Highly recommend.

Comfortable and Central
Half hour from Greenville Spartanburg Airport and just 30 minutes to Jones Gap Park, under an hour to Asheville and lots to do in between. The property was private and beautiful. The house was everything I needed. It was supposed to be me and my husband but I ended up going alone and felt safe on the property with the farm house just up the way. Thank you! I will be back.

Great Fishing
If you have impatient kids who don’t like to fish unless they are catching them, then this place is for you.! About 20 minutes from most places I was going and 3.5 hours to the beach that we went to. Great host and were very helpful. Property was fun, I’d honestly would have been content just relaxing and fishing the whole time!

This was our 1st time staying in a tiny house, it was amazing!! The house felt like home, it's clean, spacious (even though it is a tiny house, lol). First tiny house experience
First time staying in a tiny house. Kids got a huge kick out of it. Lovely fire pit. Kids had a great time feeding ducks. Hosts nicely had everything you could need set up in advance- firewood, fed for ducks, fishing pole. We only stayed 1 night, recommend staying longer to get to truly enjoy it- 1 night ended up being pricey given we checked in late due to travel issues (our issues nothing to do with hosts) and didn't get to truly enjoy all the amenities. Would have been nice to also get to explore more of the area.

Perfect family getaway
I rented this house for a family girls weekend. There were three adults and two kids (7&9). The property was amazing and the layout of the house made it surprisingly spacious for all 5 of us.
