„The view from my room was beautiful! The room was perfect for a couple. I would give it a five stars rating if the bathroom didn’t smell like mold. „My wife and I are used to all inclusive type resorts, and recently have not been very happy with the experience. If you want a true taste of Costa Rica this is where to stay for an exceptionally great deal and walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. The rooms are modest, but exceptionally clean. This is the last time we're gonna stand in an all inclusive buffet line of mediocre food and employees that hate you. This is our first time to Costa Rica and won't be the last.“

„We had an amazing trip. The condo was clean, well stocked, perfect for our family -wife and 4 y/o daughter. Will definitely be back hopefully in next 1-2 years and would love to stay here again. „This was our second trip to Sol y Mar because our first trip was a dream. The property is special. We did get caught up in the weather debacle that involved two weeks of vertical rain contributing to the Liberia airport closure, and stranding us in CR for another week.
