This rustic lodge is located on the iconic Colorado Jeep Tours property just West of Canon City on Hwy 50 in the heart of the Royal Gorge Region. Just a half a mile from the Royal Gorge bike and hike trail system that runs 22 miles mostly along the Arkansas River which happens to be the most rafted river in the United States. Historic downtown with local cuisine and shopping including the Historical Royal Gorge Route Railroad is all just minutes away. And the World famous Royal Gorge Bridge and Park turn off is just 6.5 miles down the road. You can’t beat the location as everything is within a 10 minute drive.
The space
The comfy lodge was remodeled, has new furniture, and is ready with all the amenities of home including a massive covered back patio great for cooking out and having dinner or just sitting back and reading a book. The private back patio has plenty of room to keep your recreational equipment secure and out of the elements, including a bike rack and towels to wipe down your bikes and kayaks. The front patio is a great place to enjoy morning coffee or an evening night cap while soaking in the great views of Fremont Peak sitting at the propane fire pit table. Each of the three bedrooms has a queen bed and ample room to unpack your belongings. The dining room and living room have large windows with views of Fremont Peak and the zen garden. The kitchen has a farm look with modern appliances including a microwave, dishwasher, and oven.

Entire upper level, front & back patio, and garden area. Plenty of private off street parking.
Other things to note
Exterior Security Cameras are in place for your security. There are security cameras monitoring & recording the public business areas on the front and sides of the building, as well as the driveways for business security purposes. There is also a camera on the back patio as well as an elevated camera above the front steps.
The lodge is located above the Colorado Jeep Tours office but out of the way of business activities. During the summer months you may encounter other guests during business hours on the rest of the property.
During the summer months we will need to water the garden so you might see us out there or on the patios during the day.
Winter months may require snow removal, we will be over to clear the walkways.
Due to severe health conditions and allergies we do not allow pets inside the lodge.
