„Hotel ist an der Autobahn gelegen, so dass man gut rankommt. Zimmer haben alles was man braucht und waren auch sauber. Abendessen war wirklich gut, auch Frühstück beim Frühstück ist für jeden was dabei. Parkplatz kostet pro Nacht 3 Pfund. Leider war irgendeine Familienfeier indischer Gäste, was extrem laut war, so dass wir wenig Schlaf bekamen.“

„The hotel has it's own charme, directly located at the Cathedral, nicely polished up (since our last visit in 2007), offers very friendly service. The slightly complicated distribution of rooms is owed to the old historic building. No direct car parking in the vicinity, but unloading an loading possible. We sure will come back “

„The lodge is a peace of heaven in the touristic town of Canterbury. The garden is wonderful and you can attend services easily and the evensongs each day at 5:30 pm in the cathedral. “

„Our room had a nice 4-poster-bed. Our companion was upgraded from single to double room. The hotel is located in a zone that cannot normally be accessed by cars, but in the evening ist was still possible for unloading. There is parking available near the hotel at additional cost. The breakfast (continental style) was nice and rich, the staff competent and friendly. We would come back.“

„Our family room was extremely old and run down. Spiders and cobwebs everywhere. The carpet was totally filthy. It stank horribly, so that it burned the lungs. Breakfast is only available from 8 am. As we had to get to the Eurotunnel earlier, we tried to get something to eat at 7.30 a.m., but this was not approved, although everything was already laid out and ready. The only thing to recommend is the restaurant in the evening, which unfortunately is not the point here. It's great and very tasty.“
