The beautiful Canyon View home hosts a spacious deck from which you can experience breathtaking views of Canyon Lake and miles of the gorgeous hill country scenery. Enjoy magnificent sunsets from almost every room of the home! With plenty of parking, boats and other water crafts are welcome. Canyon View will host up to 8 guests with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, making it the perfect vacation for a family or friends.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a warm and inviting lake cottage with picturesque hill country views. Decorated with a modern rustic feel to include; an excellent use of texture, rich leathers, lovely stone work, and wood flooring extending throughout the entire home. Cooks can easily prepare meals in this roomy kitchen that offers a wide array of cookware, a stainless-steel refrigerator, microwave, electric oven, and a coffee pot for your morning caffeine boost. Extra bonus: the kitchen is fully stocked with pans, pots, and utensils perfect to prepare favorite meals. The bar hosts leather bar seating perfect for a quick snack and a formal dining area is adjacent offering more space. With plenty of natural light and views, the dining area offers a perfect setting to enjoy meals at the spacious wood table with seating for six. After a day at the lake, wash your towels in the laundry room located just off the kitchen area.

Choose from one of the lovely, expertly decorated bedrooms; the master bedroom, hosts a king-sized bed with an en suite bathroom. This clean crisp space offers a large screen television, plenty of storage, unique artwork as well as picturesque hill country views, the perfect way to awaken after a restful night's sleep. With elegant decor, the second bedroom offers soft linens in a neutral pallet and a comfy queen bed. The third bedroom hosts two twin bunk beds with soft colorful linens and fun pops of color. This space is sure to be a winner with the kids with the fun art work. A shower/tub combo is located between the two rooms perfect for tidying up for the night.

Enjoy the hill country landscape and beautiful views on the covered patio. With plenty of comfortable seating, guests will find the patio is the perfect space to relax. Grill up favorites on the propane grill: steak, ribs, or some classic Texas barbecue is the perfect way to spend an afternoon. For a relaxing evening, gather around the firepit and roast smores with family and friends.

If you are looking for outdoor hill country fun, Old Hancock Trail is in the area for horseback riding and hiking. You can also enjoy a beach area with swimming and nature trails at Overlook Park, just a short drive away with great views of Canyon Lake as well as the Dam, or rent a pontoon boat or jet ski for the day! Take a day trip to Gruene, home to the historic Gruene Hall, to enjoy music and dancing, or dine at the delicious Gristmill Restaurant. The downtown square of Wimberley offers shopping in boutiques and coffee shops for a relaxing stroll around town. You can start your adventure by swimming and hiking at the famous Jacobs Well, fly across the sky at Zip Line Adventure, or drop by Blue Hole Regional Park for swimming and nature trails. Visit New Braunfels and float the beautiful Guadalupe River. Rent paddle boats or picnic at Landa Park, swim at the Spring Fed Pool, spend the day at Schlitterbahn Water Park, or visit one of the local wineries or breweries for wine or beer tasting

Not for cooks
House is great but if you cook a lot you might want to pack a good skillet. If you plan on pasta pack a colander. The view is fantastic and the location is close to most everything. We had a great time!

PERFECT STAY!!
This listing is PERFECT!! My sister and I stayed here 4 nights and it was without doubt the best experience we have ever had with a rental! Beautiful views, safe neighborhood (without feeling like a neighborhood) and fully stocked with anything we needed. We hope to stay here again!!!

Peaceful, lovely home
My father and I stayed at Canyon View for three nights while we explored the Hill Country. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and appears to be very new. Key code check in was easy, and everything inside and outside was in good shape. The only flaw was a few small stains on the queen bed comforter. Very nice kitchen.

Check in was fairly easy. There was a question of being dog friendly and the size of pets able to stay, but that was resolved satisfactorily. The house was very clean and very comfortable. In the evenings, we couldn't crank down the shades on the deck because the crank wasn't provided. The location was very nice. We were able to access restaurants, shopping and the grocery store with ease. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

The house is beautiful. The location is beautiful. Great view from the back porch. We understand that this is the country and all kinds of critters and bugs will be around, but there were ants…lots of them. On the side of the house with the two bedrooms. Started in the bathroom and quickly spread to the 2 bedrooms. 2 of our family were bit by ants while sleeping and my daughter who was supposed to stay before we left her at college had to leave because she didn’t want to get bit. By the time ants got to this level, we were leaving the next day so we didn’t contact anyone or spray our selves. All in all we would stay again, but please spray the house for bugs. Also, get your cleaning company to do better. There was so much dust and debris under the beds, including food.

Looks just like the pictures! Was clean and nice. I’d just suggest swapping the table and chairs for the fire pit and chairs near the grill. That space is a little tight with the grill and the fire pit table

Great mini vacation
Property was clean and such a beautiful home. It is located in a neighborhood near the lake. Neighbor to the right side was friendly. Surrounding neighborhood was quiet. The house was clean, new, and spacious for a couple of friends. The only con was having no access to the garage. Not sure what was going on at the moment, but I would’ve loved to have access to store our lake attire inside without ruining the beautiful flooring inside the house. Overall great stay no issues and easy to check in and out. Should change check in and check out times. They are a bit late and early for some people. Would recommend this place to others for the price we paid during a holiday!

Hill Country Visit
We stayed here for a Spring Break getaway to see the Blue Bonnets and Indian Paint Brushes. Beautiful new home in a nice quiet subdivision that seemed secluded and private. Nice view of the surrounding Hill Country. Close to Canyon and Wimberly. Would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

The property was lovely and very clean with a nicely laid out floor plan for having several stay in the property. The deck was very relaxing with hill country views and the kitchen had all the essentials that we needed for the cooking we did do. We also liked the central location of the area to head to the Austin or Fredericksburg areas for day trips. There are state parks close which we especially enjoyed the Pedernales Falls State Park. Check out Old 300 BBQ in Blanco for a great meal.

Best stay for a quick hill country weekend
This was the best home for our family! The neighborhood is quiet, the home is updated and furnished nicely, and it was close to where we needed to be. They had the best towels I have ever used in a rental!! Cleanliness is a top priority for, and overall the home was clean, but we did sweep the floors/use a room spray upon arrival as it seemed the renter before might have had a dog. No big deal -- just a personal preference. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in the Canyon Lake/Wimberley area!
