Dieses kürzlich renovierte Haus verfügt über einen privaten Pool mit zwei verschiedenen Aussichtspunkten - einen von Canyon Lake und dessen Damm und einen von Texas Hill Country. Dieses fünf Hektar große Heiligtum befindet sich an einem der höchsten Punkte der Gegend in einer privaten Nachbarschaft mit herrlichen Sonnenuntergängen und einem wunderschönen Sternenhimmel.

Was ist in der Nähe:
Canyon Lake bietet Boots- und Jetski-Verleih sowie Strandschwimmgebiete, die etwa sieben Kilometer entfernt sind. Golfen Sie im Lakeside Golf Club oder im Rebecca Creek Club. Der Guadalupe River ist ein Sommer- und Winterziel mit Schläuchen und Fliegenfischen für den Angler, nur 13 km entfernt. In den umliegenden kleinen Städten gibt es viele Antiquitätengeschäfte sowie viele gastronomische Einrichtungen, von schnellen Taco / Barbecue-Hütten bis zu gehobenen Restaurants. Gruene ist berühmt für das Gristmill Restaurant und die Gruene Hall, die älteste Tanzhalle in Texas. Und das ganze Jahr über gibt es Festivals wie das Wurstfest und New Braunfels.

obsessed!

the location, house, pool and view were all amazing!! exceeded our expectations and we'd definitely stay again! only downside was the beds were extremely uncomfy, but other than that, 10/10!!

The location and views are gorgeous. The house itself, however, is in need of renovations. 1980s wallpaper that is peeling and stained, stained bathtubs, broken cabinets, etc. The bed linens are in rough shape. Stained mattresses and pillows.

House is in serious need of updates but the location/view was great. Not a great choice for children as some of of the needed updates are safety issues. Nails sticking out of floor in entryway and missing kitchen drawers have sharp knives exposed.

Pool was not clean great. Hot tub doesn't work. Beds were completely horrible, rather slept on the couch instead. Some beds didn't have clean sheets on it. I had to wash them before. The floors weren't cleaned/dishes in dishwasher from guest before weren't done. Overall I would never stay here! The communication to host was very slow.

View was spectacular.

Million dollar property only because of the fabulous view of Canyon Lake and Dam. House needs some loving repairs and safety fixes. 1. Front door does not lock easily from the inside 2. Kitchen is ill-equipped. Only 6 coffee cups, needs a Keurig coffee maker, no casserole dishes, no ice maker(there but not working), broke front on drawer. 3. Pool and hot tub had algae issue when we got there. Pool service came next day and cleaned it. 4. Entire patio and pool surround is a little precarious when trying to walk around. Stones have shifted and cracked making it unlevel. Kind of unsafe for small children and seniors. Needs to be railed 100% around to prevent falling of ledge on left side. 5. Ceiling fans in some areas need to be replaced or at least service since they do not work. 6. There are so many light switches. They need to be labeled so you know which switch turns on what light or fan. 7. The gas grill needs to be replaced. It was dirty and unusable because both propane tanks were empty. Even though the house was not up to our usual standards(we have used VRBO for 10+ yrs), we enjoyed our stay because of the view/location.

Home is lovely - perfect size for our small family reunion/Thanksgiving gathering

For future guests reserving this property it is great size, beds are comfortable and the nostalgia is combined with modern conveniences like the kitchen, lots of space, plenty of seating inside and out and the views are amazing. Don't expect much communication from the manager or ability to reach them if there is a concern. Personal recommendations are being sent directly to the property's owner.

Beautiful hilltop getaway

The photos do not do this beautiful home justice! Stunning views and a spacious home. We celebrated a bachelorette party with 7 girls and had plenty of room to add more people if needed. The shower upstairs was having some issues draining but we all used the massive master bathroom with separate shower and tub to get ready when needed. The pool overlooks the lake to one side and the hill county town to the other. The pool was clean and well maintained as well.

Do not attempt pulling a boat into the driveway. That should be mentioned as you are vacationing on a lake. House had a horrible smell, I believe there was a dead mouse in the laundry room. House is really outdated. One room had no A/C and was listed as sleeping room

Peaceful Getaway

Property was very outdated but spacious and charming. Loved the view from the poolside and the patio. Very peaceful and secluded on one of the highest hilltops overlooking the whole town including the lake. Going up and down the hill in vehicle was a little scary because the road is very narrow but we encountered very few vehicles going back and forth and everyone was cautious.

Not worth it.

The laundry room had the most horrendous fowl stench, we had to go out and buy a candle and lysol and open the window and still then the smell never subsided. The cushions on the couch are in poor condition & constantly feel as if they are slipping off. The upstairs room with the 3 beds had a poor mattress, uncomfortable feeling. Along with the chair collapsing we had to repair 2 other chairs due to the support beam between them was broken & the table looked as if it was ready to break. Tha pool was nice but not enough lighting once it gets dadk. For the amount of money we spent on this it was a poor experience. Not worth it.

Really Great views

Great views. Comfortable beds. House layout was great, though a little general maintenance is needed. A lot of burned out light bulbs, master showerhead needs some love. Hot tub doesn’t work. Needs a new skillet in the kitchen. Everything sticks to this one. Other than some maintenance, we had a great stay.

There is a very bad big problem if the grass was mowed it may have been better outside but inside there are many bugs it needs to be sprayed. The inside needs a update and would have liked bigger pots to cook for a whole family. Lights definitely need to be labeled and we had a difficult time finding the home at first but other than that it was over all good we enjoyed it very much. Would stay here again if some things where taken care of.

Excellent time, great property manager

My wife and friends stayed at this beautiful property located at the tippy top of a hill overlooking canyon lake. Our family came and visited while we were here as well and everyone had a great time. The property manager, Christie, was amazing and very gracious giving tips of local places, suggestions to avoid having to make trips back into town, and navigation suggestions to avoid wrong turns. We will definitely be coming back and hope to get to work with Christie again. Thank you for the wonderful weekend experience!

Amazing View for Girl's Trip

This property is very beautiful but the house could use some updating. The house was plenty spacious and for the most part comfortable. Could definitely use some new furniture in the living area. Fantastic view of Canyon Lake! We really enjoyed the pool but it would've been nice if the jacuzzi was heated. Overall loved this place really just little things that would make the experience better. You will never see a more beautiful sunrise and sunset in your life!

Spacious, scenic and a pool!

The check in process was easy. The home was clean and spacious. The washer, dryer and towels provided were exactly what was needed for the number of us staying in there. Also, the TWO refrigerators were convenient to stock our groceries, beverages and ice so we didn't have to venture to the store multiple times. We booked mostly to socially distance ourselves from others and have a nice getaway. The views were AMAZING. I have many people complimenting our pictures. The pool was exactly what the kids wanted. There was plenty of seating areas for us to space out all our stuff and still have the kids in sight. My suggestions for improvement are to label all the light switches. I'm not sure if there was even a light outside, but we couldn't swim after the beautiful sunset. Of the dozens of switches we hit, there was no backyard/patio light. The upstairs tvs either didn't work or didn't have a remote. Also, a local directory or list of places that deliver to the home would be helpful. We spent some time calling random pizza places and eventually found out which Wicked Pizza delivered there, not a Pizza Hut or Domino's (but it ended up being great pizza). Ants were an issue outside as well as in the kitchen. We just had to make sure we put food away so I didn't call anyone out to bring it to anyone's attention while we were there. Extra linen for the pull out sofa bed would be nice or maybe I just overlooked it. The beds were not comfy and could be upgraded We had a great time. The house was dated but the views and pool made up for it since a majority of our time was spent outside. I would've liked to extend your stay but took the only few days available in August. We would definitely book again and were looking into September but I see no availability until October and I'm not sure of swimming weather in that area during that time of year.
