Cozy Cottage - quaint and comfy - 5 blocks to the beach, 1 block to Mason Ave.

The Cozy Cottage is in the historical district of Cape Charles. The backyard has a nice little patio and a very private outdoor shower. The front porch has a nice swing where you can sit back and relax.

The first floor has a newly remodeled kitchen with bar seating and is open to the main room with a kitchen table, chairs, and a loveseat. There is a half bath on the first floor. There is also a living room on the first floor with a TV, soundbar, and wrap around couch.

All 3 bedrooms are upstairs (The stairs are pretty steep). The parents bedroom has a queen size bed, a make up table, and a roku tv. The kid's room has a twin xl bunk bed as well as another twin xl size bed and a roku tv. The third bedroom has a bunk bed with a full mattress on the bottom and a twin on the top. The full bath is at the end of the hall with a tub/shower combo.

We had a lovely stay the house was clean and had plenty of appliances. The beds were very comfortable. The only suggestion is more toilet paper and paper towels. We will definitely stay again. Cape Charles is a lovely place we use to live there years ago.

Cozy Cottage is like home
Love the Cozy cottage very much. It’s like our home away from home. Great location, plenty of room, love the kitchen and it’s just very nice and comfortable. We enjoy the golf cart to get us back-and-forth to the beach and around town. This was our second stay and hopefully will be back next year

Great stay!

The Cozy Cottage Never Disappoints
This is our 3rd stay at the Cozy Cottage and it continues to exceed expectations. The property is really comfortable and has all the amenities you need for a wonderful holiday to either cook at home, stroll to restaurants in town, or eat on the beach. The owners are gracious hosts, excellent communicators, and very kind. Our kids loved sitting on the front porch, riding their bikes to the bakery around the corner, cruising through town on the golf cart and of course the Cape Charles sunsets.

Quaint and everything you need, lovely hosts
We enjoyed our stay at this house in Cape Charles. The location was fantastic. The house has everything you need, but the steps to the second floor are extremely steep. We loved the outdoor shower, front porch swing, and updated kitchen. The mattresses in the bunk rooms were not comfortable for the adults, but were fine for the kids. As with most of the homes in cape Charles, this is an historic property with its own set of quirks, but it adds to the charm. We had one issue with the lock on the back door, but the hosts were very responsive and had the problem fixed very quickly. Thanks again for sharing your lovely home with us!

First Time in Cape Charles
Our usual beach vacation is an Atlantic beach such as Rehoboth, Nags Head, etc. This was our first time in CC and the bayside beach was delightful. With an easy 'commute' a few blocks on a golf cart, we found our daily beach time easy and fun. Warm and calm water lured us off our beach chairs to spend quality raft/tube time. Low tide offered lots of action for our grandkids, too. The Cozy Cottage provided the perfect refuge after a day in the sun. Loved this historic home with its updated kitchen and touches. With Coastal Bakery, Deadrise Pizza and the Peach Street books a block or two away, it's a great location. *We did the Southeast Expiditions kayak tour to Chatham Winery on our last day. I recommend it! Great house, wonderful summer vacation.

Perfection
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Cozy Cottage. Though it is described as "cozy" it is spacious and full of wonderful amenities. It was nice to find that there was more than one bluetooth speaker - what's vacation without music? The home was clean and it is in a great location - close to everything! I highly recommend this lovely home! We will definitely return.

Cozy Cottage
Cozy Cottage is just that - cozy. Everything is as described and the home is well organized with instructions for everything clearly stated. (except for tv - no instuctions for ROKU and we were not familiar but didn't need anyway) The neiborhood is very quiet and the porch swing very relaxing. As per reviews, everything is walkable. We had nice weather the whole week and found lots of sea glass! LOVE Cape Charles!

Clean place. Owners great and quick to respond. Backyard and patio are particularly, beautiful and private. Great location near beach and town. Be aware all bedrooms are UP and stairs are the old steep kind! May not work well for older guests

Hope to come back again!
5 adults stayed for a weekend wedding and this place worked perfectly for us. We found the thermostat easy to use when the crazy weather led us to need the a/c one day and the heat the next to make every room comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. We loved having access to the bikes although we found the town very walkable.

Cozy Cottage is just that!
The house was perfect for three friends having a girls trip away. House was modern and vintage in all the best ways. Everything was super functional and cozy at the same time. The only negative I can think of are the steps are very steep and would be worrisome for toddlers. We had no problems with them as they provided much needed exercise 😊. The house had everything one could ever need. Great amount of time and thought has gone into providing every little thing one could need in a rental. Having a golf cart that we did not have to pick up and return was wonderful! Bikes and beach chairs and everything in the back shed were in perfect condition! This was a keeper and worth a return visit!!
