„Our group of 8 (my husband and I, our four adult children, one son’s girlfriend and one daughter´s boyfriend) spent ten nights at ´HALE KONA AÉKAI´. This was our third visit to the Big Island. On our arrival we were greeted by Evan, who had already opened all doors facing the ocean, so while walking in our breaths were taken away, stunned by how amazing the location of the house really is and how wonderful the views are. „Clean and stylish (not quaint at all). Relaxing, with a terrific porch overlooking the ocean. Surprisingly cool, temperature-wise. No air conditioning, but did not need it. Luxurious beds, like sinking into a pan of marshmallow foam. Stay here. “

„Modern, clean design unit with fabulous views. Watching the sunrise and sunset from a covered deck that runs the whole length of the place is the best part of the house. Kitchen supplies were fine and beds were comfortable. Being up the hill from the coast keeps the place cool without needing a/c or fans. I just wish thee were dimmers on all the lights so it wasn’t so bright at night. Would definitely stay here again.“

Dolphins were a giving us some morning entertainment on one of our mornings there. We drove a little way down to Hapuna Beach and saw sea turtles. „We stayed for two weeks, as I was taking part in the Ironman race this October. The property was very clean and well-stocked with the essentials. The kitchen was great with everything needed to make meals as neccessary. I had seen some reviews that the oven was difficult to use, but this wasn't a problem for us, the oven seemed very new and hi-tech (who needs their oven to have Wifi?). The garage was also well-stocked with pool / beach toys which were really great for the two young children ...

„This was a great place to gather as a family for a big bday celebration. It's a wonderfully comfortable unit, has beautiful grounds and pool and a spectacular sunset view over the Pacific. While we enjoyed dining on the deck the nearby Magic Sands restaurant was also a favorite. My only hesitation for recommending this property is that it will become to popular! “

"Die Unterkunft war schön gelegen, nicht weit vom Meer entfernt. Unser "Surfer Room" war mit Küchenzeile, Deckenventilator, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine und Kühlschrank ausgestattet. Das separate Bad war in der Tat separat in einem ca. 5 m entfernten, gegenüberliegenden Gebäude untergebracht. Das war nachts und bei Regen etwas unangenehm. Ein Wasserspender und Strandutensilien waren im Hauptgebäude. Es gab auch eine Außenküche. Der Parkplatz war in direkter Nähe zum Zimmer, die Zufahrt jedoch etwas eng."
